why are the quotes listed in the articles wierdly different?

I read the hardcover english editions and I keep on finding differences between the quotes in the book and in the quotes section of the article.

May someone alert me to why exactly this is?

They are mostly based on different translations. If you think some of the quotes in the hardcover english editions look better, you could replace them.
