Template:Book Gorgeous Irene(ゴージャス★アイリン) is a short Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki and was published by Weekly Shonen Jump from 1984 to 1985. The manga is split into 2 chapters, each with around 40 pages.
The volume also features Araki's debut work 'Busou Poker', and his earlier works 'Say Hello to Virginia,' and 'Magic Boy B.T.' Some earlier prints also include 'Outlaw Man.'
Synopsis
Irene is a professional assassin who is able to transform into any type of woman using her 'make-up' power, but instead of killing in cold blood, she uses her abilities for good.
Trivia
- One of Irene's abilities is to fling her fake nails at her opponants; possibly an inspiration for Part 7's Johnny Joestar's stand ability.
- Several of the characters in the manga have similar appearances and were probable influences of those from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure:
- Roba's gang members have headgear similar to the Pillar Men
- Micheal has a strong resemblance to Jonathan Joestar
- The man in the bar's hairstyle is similar to Stroheim's.
