"Man in the Pillar" Resurrection Project is the fifty-third chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the ninth chapter of Part II: Battle Tendency.

Summary

Speedwagon had apparently attempted suicide while under detainment, so the Nazi's had him put in a straight jacket. Stroheim uses this as confirmation that Speedwagon knows something of value to their cause and a shutter opens behind him revealing the Man in the Pillar. The Nazi's had secured it in a large room, and had been slowly pumping it with human blood from slaves in order to awaken it.

Elsewhere, Joseph is riding a motorcycle through the Mexican desert, but stops at a nearby town. Having foolishly drank the water laid out for horses, he resorts to beating up a bunch of Mexican thugs and forces them to supply him with food and gasoline.

Back at the Nazi base, Speedwagon had been administered a truth serum, and the Nazi's were able to learn information about the stone masks and the physical enhancement they did to a person's body after donning one.
