Wang Chan is a fictional character from the first part of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
Story
Originally only know as the Oriental Man, who's shop in the Ogre Street was field with curiosities. Wang Chang give Dio the poison which Dio secretly replace for the medicine causing George Joestar to grow weaker with the plan of killing him. Wang Chang didn't care for what reason Dio was using it but did prophesy that a man in his own land had a similar birthmark as that of Dio (tree dots within the ear) and explain that the man had a harsh life but live to be 183. This a foreshadow of Dio's own life, which would be greatly extended do to using the Stone Mask. The next time we see Wang Chang he is under Jonathan's custody, caught with the help of the recently befriend Speedwagon. Its there that Wang Chang warns George Joestar of Dio's nature and his destiny, that men like him will never surrender or be caught. Its these words that make George realized just how dangerous Dio is, as he block's an attack meant for his son. Dio uses George's blood to become a vampire, taking Wang Chang as his subordinate. Much later Wang Chan would too become a vampire under Dio's orders. Dio trust's him so much that he was to be responsible for his head and implanting it in Jonathan's body. This obviously didn't go according to plan as Jonathan use the last of his strength to crush Wang Chan's head and sending a ripple which took control of his body and made him sink the ship by grinding his body into the machinery.
