Chapter 116
The Evil Spirit's Identity (Jotaro Kujo (3) in the JoJonium release) is the one-hundred-sixteenth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the third chapter of Part III: Stardust Crusaders.
Summary
Jotaro asks his grandfather if he knows the identity of the evil spirit, to which Joseph replies yes. To protect himself from Jotaro's stand, Avdol unleashes a Red Bind that pins Jotaro to the front of the cell.
At this moment, the evil spirit of Jotaro fades away due to Jotaro's inability to breath. Joseph explains the true nature of the evil spirit as an image created by his life force. Since the spirit stands beside its user, it's referred to as a Stand.
Jotaro uses the toilet to put out the fire, and uses his stand to rip out two bars from the prison entrance to attack Avdol, but the latter turns away before he is able to strike. Jotaro stops the attack and Avdol explains that he had no intention to fight and had already succeeded of getting Jotaro out of the cell.
Now that Jotaro had no reason to stay in prison, he asks Joseph as to how he knew of the concept of a Stand. The old man shows a picture of a steel chest and explains that Avdol and him are on tracking someone down.
