My ability can replay movements straight or in reverse, I can’t pause and I need to have the object in my possession for it to work.
Brown Moses explaining his ability to Jonas Joestar

The Endorphinmachine (ザ・エンドルフィンマシン, Za Endorufinmashin) is the Stand of Brown Moses, primarily featured in the the Absolutely Free.

The Endorphinmachine is a long-range artificial humanoid stand that can replay movement, normally or in reverse.

Appearance

The Endorphinmachine is an artificial humanoid stand mostly comprised of mainly a head, two hands, a net and robotic eyes. It has a top piece around it's shoulders, with spikes going across them. The stand has large studs across the sides of it's face, with the middle being covered. The middle part of it's face has a chain of triangles split into dark and bright halves.

Abilities

The Endorphinmachine, unlike it's user, isn't very physically strong. It is a long range stand, with a range of 2 kilometers. Moses can use the stand's net-shaped body to his advantage, using it to catch onto objects.

Movement Replay

The Endorphinmachine can replay movement in reverse or normal. Nothing can stop the replay, as a reversed replay of a soda can being thrown was able to lift Benton Manzanera. The ability can loop replays, as The Endorphinmachine was able to make a consistently running replay loop of the crew's car tires driving forward. It can be used to replay any movements that the object has experienced.

The ability only works on objects and Moses must have the objects in his possession for him to replay their movement. Moses needs to mark objects or claim ownership in some manner to use his ability on said object, be it using a marker to write his name on the object as a claim of ownership, or pissing on the object to assert it as his.

  • Throwing a soda can and replaying it in reverse to drag opponents back to you
  • Replaying projectiles in reverse to hit the enemy
  • Looping a replay of car wheels driving after the crew's car engine dies
  • Unlocking a phone by replaying the password being put in
  • Opening a lock by replaying it being locked in reverse, unlocking it

Creation and Development

Originally, Moses was originally going to be named "Endorphin McChang", having named his Stand after himself. The Stand was originally named "Endorphinmachine". However, the names were changed to "Brown Moses" and "The Endorphinmachine".
