Rose&Release (ローズ・アンド・レリース, Rōzu Ando Rerīsu) is the Talent of Rose Paisley, featured in the comic series Pink among Blood Red Roses.
Rose&Release allows Rose to heal nearly all injuries or make things stick together by applying rose petals on them.
Appearance
Within the comic itself, Rose&Release manifests itself as small, pink rose petals, appearing in Rose's hands. However, the Talent has a non-canon physical form used in artworks outside of the series. This physical representation of Rose&Release has a physique that is similar to that of Rose herself. The Talent features round yellow eyes, a small nose, rose flowers on its cheeks, shoulders and knuckles, as well as a motif of dark arrows running down its ears, torso, arms and fingers.
Abilities
Rose&Release grants Rose the ability to heal almost all types of injuries, as long as they are non-lethal. The ability is executed by throwing small rose petals at the target Rose wishes to heal. These petals manifest in Rose's hand and her control over their direction isn't particularly accurate. These petals can also stick objects together or pin something down to a certain spot. Rose&Release's ability is fully reversible if Rose wishes it to be so.
While Rose&Release's healing capabilities are impressive, it cannot heal any injury even if it's a non-lethal one. An example of this is when Rose attempted to heal the remains of Peitho's left eye. While the superficial damage to Peitho's face and eye was healed, her eyesight has not returned, and according to Rose, will most likely never will as "there are no known cases of eye reattachment". This weakness indicates that the healing capabilities of Rose&Release are limited to what modern medicine and science is capable of.
In addition, Rose&Release will most likely not be able to heal Rose's lost arm, which has been ripped away from her by a reanimated Holly Chevron under the command of Dolos Valentine.
