Funny Valentine is the main antagonist of Part VII: Steel Ball Run.
Story
Funny Valentine is the main antagonist of Part VII and the twenty-third president of the United States. Originally, he is introduced as an old, stout man. After absorbing the torso of the saint, he gains a large muscular build and a more handsome appearance. He is using the Steel Ball Run race to collect the scattered remains of Jesus Christ around the United States. He will do so by fair means or foul, sending assassins to eliminate Gyro for the purposes of retrieving the Saint's body. He was a former soldier, discharged after being tortured during a war where he found the saint's heart.
Valentine made his first face-to-face encounter with Gyro and Johnny, killing Axl Ro and stealing the Corpse Parts from them.
He discover when Lucy disguise herself to look like Scarlet Valentine and was nearly killed by Her, when he try to rape her. Saved by his stand, he pursued Lucy, only to discover she absorbed the body and was pregnant.
When Lucy developed a Stand, for some reason he could use Demensional Wall to protect himself from others. This protection combined with the dimentional power of his stand made him nearly invincible.
Despite this, Gyro managed to leave him dying, with the cavalry spin(Super Spin) . Although he finally beat Gyro, he knows that Johnny could kill him with the same technique. That is why Valentine tries to convince Johnny to let him live in exchange for bringing a Gyro from another dimension. Meanwhile, he uses his last moments to find a worthy heir in a closer dimension, finding a new Diego that seems ideal for this task. Finally, Johnny defeated Valentine seeing trought his lies, but not before the president brings Diego to complete his objetive.

Trivia
- Funny Valentine has an odd habit of drinking beer by poking a hole into the can and drinking from the bottom of it.
- According to his wife, he makes no sound when he walks, and he can even play the mandoline using his feet, simply dancing on it.
- While Valentine, is obviously a fictional character the real real twenty-third president was Benjamin Harrison.
- The origin of his name is the jazz song "My Funny Valentine".
- He has numerous scars on his back, traces of when he was tortured during war. The scars resemble the Stars and Stripes.
