Diver Down

Diver Down (ダイバー・ダウン daibā daun) is a stand ability featured in Part VI: Stone Ocean. The stands user is Narciso Anasui, and its name is based the Van Halen [1] album, Diver Down [2].

Appearance/Personality

Diver Down appears as a muscular scuba diver with multiple D's on its body. It is a very powerful stand, and thus has a short range.

Powers

Release Attack: Diver Down is able to leave an imprint of an attack and then release it upon command (a kick released from a footprint).

Dive Down: Diver Down's main ability is phasing through solid objects and people. This allows him to attack an enemy internally - rearranging their bones or tendons - or defend an ally by hiding within them. However, Diver Down cannot defend its user when it's within an object. Diver Down can also bring its user and others through solid objects as long as they are all directly touching each other. It is never clearly stated how or when Anasui received his stand, but it is assumed that he had his Stand before his prison sentence do to his high control and Pucci never given him a Stand Disc.
