The song features one of Joseph's catchphrases; "Very Nice!"
The song title, "Crazy my Beat", suggests Joseph's wacky personality (Crazy) and his Ripple skills (my Beat) which he has already, hence the word "my", developed some before meeting Lisa Lisa and finally mastered it.
The word "breath", which appears three times in the song, suggests the importance of Joseph's breathing on using the Ripple which is also a callback of Lisa Lisa made him put on a mask when he first start his training with her.
