Summary
While Jonathan fuirously punches Dio, some of Dio's blood splatters onto the Stone Mask. Jonathan briefly notices that tentacles are growing out of the mask. Jonathan's attention goes back to Dio, who is now crying and saying how he could do this to him while behind Dio's back is a knife. Before anything could continue, George comes rushing in stopping the fight, and without anyone noticing the tentacles on the mask go back into the mask. George yells at them and makes them go to their rooms.
A few days later, one of the Joestar Mansion butlers is taking the trash to be throw into the incinerator. He notices that there's a box in the incinerator but just assumes that one of the maids put it in their. After turning the incinerator on, the butler hears a noise and relizes that someone is in there. After opening the incinerator door, a figure comes rushing out. The figure is revealed to be Danny, who is burning alive.
While coming home from school, Jonathan sees a crow staring so he does something to stop the "crow's curse". He looks back at it towards his legs and throws a stone. He then sees Erina but avoids her, not knowing what to say. He says it's like a wall of glass is between them and their feelings can't break it. He curses Dio and says that if this is what he'd been planning with that kiss, it succeeded well beyond his expectations.
When he arrives home, Jonathan sees his father tells him the bad news about Danny. Jonathan is in shock and first suspects Dio of this while everyone else thinks it was a thief who was trying to take care of the watch dog. Jonathan then lies down in his bed and remembers Danny's death and cries.
When Dio is by himself, he knows that he underestimated Jonathan and, while he's dealt with the humiliation getting rid of Danny, he knows that his anger is his weak point. Seven years pass as the stone mask waits in silence.
