Chapter 2
A New Friend is the second chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga.
Summary
After introductions, George welcomes Dio into the Joestar home as a son and expects Jonathan and Dio to get along well. George puts Jonathan and Dio in strict gentlemen studies, whether it be through a book or table manners. Dio is able to outshine Jonathan easily.
On another day, Jonathan and Dio have a boxing match against each other in which the winner takes the allowance of the others. Jonathan throws many punches, but to no avail as Dio is able to easily dodge them all. Dio then begins to punch at Jonathan, and as a dirty trick, during one o his punches, takes his thumb and pushes into Jonathan's eye and then punches through. Jonathan's friends soon take a liking to Dio, which to him is just another step further to isolate Jonathan. Jonathan struggles to get up and says how bad his eye hurts.
