Takuma Hasumi
Takuma Hasumi is a enemy stand user who only appeared in The Book: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 4th Another Day novel, based on Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable.
Appearance/Personality
Takuma is a killer with a horse-shaped birthmark on his neck. He has the natural ability to memorize everything he sees, listens or senses all the time on the smallest details, even if it was something trivial like "how many breads he has eaten in his life". Forced to remember things he wanted to forget, such as the pain of getting hit by a car, Takuma started to scratch his arms so hard to endure the pain that they got permanent red marks on them.
Takuma, to hide his arms, only uses long-sleeved jackets and refuses to take them off. He also is always seen with a pen, given to him by the Crybaby Boy. Takuma then decides to live a reclusive life, so he would be able to avoid getting much more data, and is described as being "a void without emotions".
Synopsis
History
Takuma is the son of Akari Hirai and Teruhiko Okami. When his mother died after giving birth to him, his father abandoned him in a temple.Takuma was then taken to an orphanage. The orphanage staff found out about his abilityy to not forget anything and thouth he was a genius, but were disapointed when realizing he could only store data, but not actually put them together to solve problems. His ability made his life much worse, as he could never forget anything in his head. Takuma tried suicide multiple times, but never succeeded, and so decides to live a reclusive life. He eventually fully develops his stand The Book and so the memories once stored in his head were stored in the stand, so he could remember anything in his life anytime he wanted just by looking at it. Takuma finds out that his mother died oppressed by Teruhiko and vows revenge.
The Book: 4th Another Day
Takuma kills his father's former lover Hanae Orikasa so he would come in contact. He then develops a friendship with Chiho Futaba, unaware that she's actually his half-sister. The stand users of Morioh start a investigation on the death of Hanae, believing it to be the work of a stand user, and Takuma ends up being chased by Okuyasu Nijimura. Even though he manages to defeat Okuyasu, Takuma accidentally hurts Tomoko Higashikata and is chased by her son Josuke Higashikata. At the roof of the library Josuke defeats Takuma, who falls from the building to his own death wish.
