Norisuke Higashikata the 4th is the great grandson of Norisuke Higashikata mentioned in Steel Ball Run. He is the father of Joushuu Higashikata and the guardian of the protagonist during his attempt to salvage his memories.

He is the head of Higashikata fruit company which was established by Norisuke Higashikata from SBR with the money he won from the race. He is seemingly very glad to help the protagonist and even puts him over his own son, Joushuu in several occasions. Towards the end of his introduction, however, he starts acting creepy, secretative, and bossy, especially with the words "my word is the law in this house". This implies that the Higashikata household is not as scrupulous as it might seem.

Later on in the series, he walks in on Josuke appearing to about to have sex with Daiya, swearing that he'll kill him for being a rapist later. He also knows of Daiya's stand ability, California King Bed. Since stands can be passed down genetically and Norisuke is capable of perceiving stands, it is possible that he also has a stand of his own.
