Hi, welcome to JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia! Thanks for your edit to the Iggy page.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- Bohemian King (Talk) 07:01, February 7, 2012

Welcome! To answer your question on Nukesaku's page: according to the Japanese kana on this picture the correct name is NuKesaku. Numesaku is a typo, as you can see by yourself if search it through google images... if you need anything else, feel free to write!

Whenever I edit a page involving stands, I'm not sure whether to capitalize "stand" or its variants. Could someone clear this up for me? Thanks. TriNiSette 00:52, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Hi again. Thanks for your good job in the wiki. About the stand's articles, is not necesary to capitalize that word. A lot of articles were made by diferent persons and we try to keep a format but is hard. If you have any doubt, just ask, but modify freely. For example, the Straigth/Straits article, you did well. Bye!

Bohemian King 15:40, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Got it. Thanks. TriNiSette 15:42, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

I can't be completely sure, I was using other editors uses and had assumed them to be accurate, but maybe we should go with Squadra. It's something up for debate. Cryuga 07:16, April 8, 2012 (UTC)

I had an idea for a new catagory; "Teams" which would record and list people who work in groups. It would have the main protagonists from parts III and V, as well as the following teams listed;

J. Geil and Hol Horse

Oingo and Boingo

Boingo and Hol Horse

Bug Eat and Unnamed Rat

Pesci and Prscuitto

Squalo and Tizziano

I'd do it myself but I don't know how to make a 'catagory' style page. What do you think about the idea?

It might be excessive; we can simply create a separate section in each Part that lists the teams out and describes them there. Otherwise, we may have to categorize every character page with a Team category. TriNiSette 03:11, April 10, 2012 (UTC)

I'm trying to figure out what this was

At first I thought it was a power of Highway Star, and had this typed out

The Room: Highway Star seems to have a rather odd ability involving finding victims. It creates a room in a wall that, as seen, was only found by stand users. Anyone who enters the room is targeted by Highway Star, who begins to persure them with its sense of smell to try and use "Dried Up!" on them. The details of this technique, and how it relates to the rest of Highway Stars abilities, are unknown.

But then I realized it showed an image of Kira killing a woman and taking her hand. So what are your thoughts on this?

Thanks for coming back to me about this. Given that Rohan had a past that involved Kira (Reimi was responsible for Rohan's survival when he was a toddler), I think Highway Star does have the ability to create rooms like that to lure people in. This is even more so if Rohan is spiritually aware, as was the case when he and Koichi met Reimi at the alleyway between the two stores. Also remember that those who aren't spiritually aware are unable to see generic stands (some occupy tangible substances, upon which they can be seen by normal people). TriNiSette 01:49, April 11, 2012 (UTC)

I think we should add this power to highway star then, I'd encourage you to do it as I don't have the confidence to word it just right. And thank you for helping with the Angelo page by the way, I can never get the placement of photos correctly. Cryuga 02:14, April 11, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks again. Wording it right is a matter of reading articles that have generally been resolved and require relatively little editing. You should be able to get the right tone for the article, that being informative and generally unbiased.

Regarding the photo placement, it's a matter of observing the source code of what past editors have done (such as adding "|right" or "|left" to a photo to adhere it to the right or left of a page respectively). Editing in source mode to remove links helps better than deleting and retyping the word as well, and can also help you learn some coding in the future (which is rather important, as a physics professor of mine said that "not knowing how to program is like not knowing how to read"). TriNiSette 02:47, April 11, 2012 (UTC)

Something is seriously weird on the Beach Boy page, I have no idea how to fix it without making it worse and I think you were the last one to edit. Sending you this incase you didn't realize.

PS: Nice job with the Sorbei + Cante page

Thanks. If you're talking about how the template is screwing itself over, I am already aware of it and think it's someone screwing with the template directly rather than with the page itself. For now, I'm going to put it off until I can edit the original template itself, rather than going to each page with that format and editing them all directly. However, getting to the template itself is not something that I am able to do at the moment, and if you are seriously concerned, using the infobox template instead, be it from my blog or another page, and refilling the corresponding information inside the infobox, should be of some help. Anyone know how to assign names and images to badges? It's quite motivating, and is probably my primary motivation for trying out new codes on the wiki. (I don't think I've ever edited in source mode as much even on the Kenichi wiki.) Thanks! TriNiSette 00:24, April 27, 2012 (UTC)

I will ask about the badges. I don't have idea right now.

Edits in the wikia

Thank you for your constant effort on this wiki. I know the encyclopedia need a lot of work and you had done very well. I was talking with the owner of the wiki (Bunnet) about naming new admins because he is inactive for personal problems and I am busy with my job and study ( I barely had time to check the updates lately...).

If you are interested in becoming an admin, please tell me. I will try to contact him again.

Just wanted to essentially say everything Bohemian said on the post above and thank you for work you've done on this wiki. There was quite a lack of articles back when I joined back in 2009, and I'm pretty damn glad to find other dedicated Jojo fans popping up. I'll be helping out with posting new articles and information that comes out relating to the series, and contribute in anyway I can. Please feel free to edit my posts whenever you find some crudely worded parts; my grammatical skills and sentence structure arn't quite up to par with yours.

Anyways, thanks again and keep up the good work.MetallicKaiser 18:05, July 9, 2012 (UTC)

I was just actually looking at some other wiki's the other day and noticed that was something we were lacking. I think it's a great idea, and would give editors something useful to do, since most of the articles arn't requiring that much editting at this point. I actually have a similar schedule problem myself as a college student, but unfortunately, I'll be undergoing surgery tomorrow, so I'll be quite honestly sitting around doing nothing but recovering. With that said, I'd gladly reread the series again during that time, and help fill each chapter article with their respective information. I think the best choice of action would to be to announce this on the hompage, so others know they exist, and they need filling in. We can do something similar to this with episodes once the anime is broadcast as well. MetallicKaiser 08:05, July 10, 2012 (UTC)

I wish you good luck with the surgery :D. About the chapters articles, i don't think that is a good idea for two reasons:

  • It's an slave job: Jojo is currently Shueisha's second longest running manga series. It's the 8th in largest manga. The wikias who count chapter per chapter has less chapters to write about and/or a huge amount of users to help. It's sad but true.
  • There are more importants articles to edit: It's interesting to know what happen in each chapter, but the people visit the articles mainly to read about Stands or characters.
  • A legion of new articles to edit: We are doing a lot of articles (more than 800) for a few lines.

What can we do instead?

1)"Sagas Article": Articles that compile entire sagas with detailed info of the events. We also list the cahpters involved.

Example: Phantom Blood:Childhood Saga: Begin with 1st chapter, ends when Dio took the mask and escape.(Only an example)

2)Epic scenes/battles: Same as Sagas but focused on special events with few chapters.

3)Chapters of Jojolion: Jojo Fans are waiting each month for theses chapters. To mantain the wikia up to date we can write about this chapters (Since SBR they are monthly and larger). Its a lot of effort too, but there are few chapters and i think people would be more interested in the last chapters.

4)Extend the Jojo-related Spin-Off: I write a little about this "chapters" but only a little summary. We can write a extended version of the spin off(They are hard to find).

That¡s all for now. I will be updating the post about the council.

Same here on my end; good luck with the surgery as well!

I understand. We don't have to add summaries of each chapter (it's much better if the people go and read it themselves anyway). Please make the Sagas articles instead; we'll be able to shorten the Jotaro and Dio pages accordingly as well. I can't find the council blog yet, and the link you posted on Kaiser's page doesn't seem to work.

Thanks. :) TriNiSette 02:47, July 11, 2012 (UTC) I think this would be it.

Surgery went well, and I'm currently lying on my ass recovering. I think updating the chapters for jojolion is a great idea, since it is the current arc being released at the moment. Steel Ball Run can also be updated later on as well, seeing as it was the first arc to become a chapter per month thing, so there is alot more information to add in each chapter, instead of a few lines. I've noticed on other wiki's that they add a certain section for each character showing each of their battles and think we should do this as well.

For example:

Which was what Bohemian King was saying.

Also, adding a references scroll box would help users alot more when searching for certain chapters.

The Jotaro page has one, but I think we should add it to all the characters. MetallicKaiser 20:03, July 11, 2012 (UTC)

Trinisette : The council post is as MetallicKaiser said. I think we can comment there, (The idea is to move to a more confortable "talk method" like mail or chat, but for now is ok). It's better to talk about the changes there( I don't want to spam your Talk Page XD) hereinafter, see the post please. I will comment there.

bye! Bohemian King 00:41, July 12, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, that's pretty much what i did; each tab is linked to a different page. I was testing out the code the wikia main site supplied, but there appears to be a much better way of organizing the tabs via a more organized template. Most wiki's call it the Parent Tab template, and I was not quite sure if we should use it. Feel free to change the code.

As for the one that's currently up

Jotaro Kujo:Introduction|Introduction

First part is the name of the page, 2nd part is the name that goes on the tab.
