Contrary to expectation I even imagine that the world would have become a better place than the real world we live in right now, had DIO had won. DIO is nocturnal since he would be obliterated under sunlight, and he would likely turn the populace into vampires. Then everyone would not need heating, and the energy crisis may never have occurred (laughs).

Speaking of mysteries, Nessi was the representative mystery from my youth. However, when I settled down upon the conclusion "Nessi not real" I was struck by an unarticulated sense of despair that "the world as I know it is ending".

Thinking of it like that, you can conceptualize the original manga and novels as "Rohan from separate respective timelines." For example, although Rohan hardly gave off the impression that he rode on public transport, in A Rainy Monday he was nonchalantly trying to board a train. In D.N.A which was published in Bessatsu Margaret, he exuded an atmosphere which was never before seen. When you compare and contrast every single episode, I sometimes feel that there is an intangible something which cannot be dismissed as just "Rohan's maturation." Personally, thinking instead "which Rohan from which timeline" makes everything consistent. Even the minute differences of his face rendering his appearance to a completely separate person, which can probably be attributed to being dictated by the form of the body Araki wanted to draw then and there, can be comprehended as the same "Rohan Kishibe." Despite the differences existing in each version of him, I feel that the fundamental spirit/mind of each is XXX. This XXX houses an energy inconceivable for other manga, and that inspires confidence inside myself. With so many parallel worlds of alternate possibilities, I convinced myself that I was being allowed to act out a Rohan from a small handful of those potentialities.
