Template:Game Move
Usage
This template is to be used with the Game Movelist template. Neither will work properly otherwise.
Parameters
name
-> Name of move.
input
-> Inputs required to execute. Best to use the following templates: ASBInput, Input, HFInput, Move.
media
-> Image/Video/Gif to showcase the move visually.
oldmedia
Set to "true" if the media needs updating to showcase the latest game patch.
desc
-> Description of the move. Keep it brief but comprehensive (concise).
type
-> The Attack Type (Low, Middle, High, Throw, etc.)
damage
-> Damage the move deals. If multiple values, use slashes (23 / 43 / 53) or a tilde (43 ~ 102). Can also use the S template for specification (like this).
startup
-> # of frames between the move's activation and first hitbox.
active
-> # of frames a move's hitbox is present and can hit an opponent.
recovery
-> # of frames between when the hitbox disappears and a character can act again.
block
-> # of frames before or after a character can act again after a move is blocked in comparison to the opponent. Use + or - to notate whether the character moves before (+) or after (-).
hit
-> # of frames before or after a character can act again after a move hits in comparison to the opponent. Use + or - to notate whether the character moves before (+) or after (-).
ref
-> Image/Gif of what the move may reference
dialogue
-> What the character says during that move
extra
-> For the GioGio's Bizarre Adventure and Phantom Blood (PS2 Game) pages mostly.
Example
* The attached media is outdated and displays an older version of the game.
Star Platinum unleashes a barrage of punches, with the option to lead into ORAAA!. The distance the Stand moves depends on the input, increasing in order; although this also increases vulnerability. Also, pressing the attack button repeatedly will increase the number of hits.
This ability can initiate Rush Mode.
Damage: 63 ~ 103 (depends on number of hits)
Startup frames: 9 / 13 / 17
Active frames: 30 ~ 55 / 30 ~ 65 / 30 ~ 70 (depends if move is extended)
Recovery frames: 13 / 17 / 21
Block advantage: -30 (normal) -14 (extended) / -26 (normal) -16 (extended) / -22 (normal) -18 (extended)
Hit advantage: -22 (normal) -6 (extended) / -18 (normal) -8 (extended) / -14 (normal) -10 (extended)
