Fox • Fox✨star is the assumed identity of a chronically online girl from the far off land of Pittsburgh. In 2019, she was peer pressured into watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and eventually got really emotionally invested in JoJolion. During the release of the final chapter of Part 8 in 2021, she suffered a mental breakdown caused the appearance of Toru in the 1920s, and the general emotional emptiness caused by the debatably premature ending caused her to start using her writing skills to adapt the story into a full length fan-novel commonly known as the Cope Fic, subsequently becoming the leader of the Cope Club.

Origins

I was originally a hanger-on in the Kamen Rider fansub community; I watched then read JoJo's Bizarre Adventure form 2019-2020, at the suggestion of several users on the Over-Time Subs Discord. After initially taking three months to get through the first three Parts, I really fell in love with the series during the Echoes episode of Part 4, and finished DiU & GW in under three weeks. I caught up to the then current Part JoJolion when it had 97 chapters out, and during the last several chapters became super invested in the events, to the point where the mods at OT where I was live-blogging my experience had to tell me to shut up about it.

I joined, left, and rejoined the JJBE Discord Server several times after first hearing about it from Hamon Beat's YouTube video endorsing it. Eventually I became a regular on the server, and during the lead up to JJL's final chapter, I decided to host a live stream where I would read it dressed in a maid dress.

At the time, I had been writing a backstory fanfiction for controversial main antagonist Toru, which featured him being born in the 1950s. When the final chapter revealed Toru had been alive since at least the 1920s, I screamed a little bit and decided to adapt JoJolion myself in full.
