Higashikata Family

The Higashikata family as seen in Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable consists of three family members. A possible 'distant relative' with the same surname exists in the Steel Ball Run universe.

Ryohei Higashikata

Ryohei Higashikata is a minor character from Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable. He is the grandfather of Josuke, and the father of Tomoko Higashikata.

A respectable police officer and citizen, he is killed by Angelo's stand Aqua Necklace early on in the series. This causes Josuke to vow to rid the town of Morioh from evil stand users.

Tomoko Higashikata

Tomoko Higashikata is a minor character from Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable. She is the mother of Josuke, and the daughter of Ryohei.

An attractive single mother of an unknown profession, she is known to have a strong temperament. Little is known about her relationship with Joseph Joestar other than that they had an illegimate child, Josuke, of which Joseph had no knowledge of until the boy was 16. She remains deeply in love with Joseph despite the man already being married; according to Josuke she gets emotional at the memory of him.

Norisuke Higashikata

A mysterious Japanese racer appearing in Part VII: Steel Ball Run. His horse is named Honoo (Flame) and is a Barbarian Warm Blood.
