Vitamin C
A mysterious Stand belonging to Tamaki Damo, featured in Part VIII: JoJolion.
Appearance
The Stand takes on the appearance of several watery hands which leaves fingerprints on whatever Damo touches and can spread to others like bacteria.
Personality
Ability
Musculoskeletal Manipulation: Damo's Stand is capable of being able to mold and liquefy an opponent's skin, muscles, and seemingly the entire skeletal system like putty, causing them to lose control of their bodies as it quickly renders their limbs and other body parts nearly useless. Eventually, the Stand seems to be able to absorb to person's body into itself, as seen with Kyo Nijimura. The Stand takes the form of several claw-like arms that can move along surfaces in addition to its physical form, allowing it to travel between places more stealthily while also suggesting it may be a remote Stand. For the Stand's abilities to actually work, however, the victim must somehow touch Damo's fingerprints, which are uniquely sticky and wet to the touch. Once this happens, the victim can be affected by the Stand's power. The strength of the manipulation seems to get stronger as time passes, as Joshu's skin slowly progressed to the point that water from a nearby sink passed through his head while Kyo's entire body was turned to liquid and absorbed by the time Josuke found her. The power itself doesn't seem to apply to the victim's own Stand, should they have one. Instead, it appears that the Stand becomes immobilized in the same way as its user without losing the respective body part.
Trivia
- The appearance of the Stand itself could be a reference to the dozens of severed hands that drag away Yoshikage Kira at the end of Part 4.
- The stand's ability to morph its enemies flesh and absorb them could be a reference to 1989 horror film Society[1] where the film's antagonists, a murderous cult of high-class mutants, are able to deform and absorb other people.
