A place for me to test things I don't understand

T-This is... my body's moving on it's own...! There's no doubt about it! This has to be that Parrot's... stand attack!

The unnamed Parrot Stand (オウム, Ōmu) is the stand of the Parrot, main antagonist of Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak, a spinoff manga of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

Appearance

The Parrot Stand's rollers unfurling
The Parrot's stand has the appearence of of a mechinal bird, slightly larger than it's user. The head is small, with it having tubes protrute out from it, and a large ridge along the top. While it's central body is unseen, it appears to have a thin torso with several appendages. These arms have several circular joints which connect to several circular rolers. These rollers can unfurl into long thin strips, similar to a tape dispenser.

The stnd's legs are also fully mechanical in appearence, with them starting from the center of one of the rollers. These legs have another roller attatched at where a knee joint would be, and they connect to large mechanical talons (similar to that of a large predatory bird)

Abilities

Punch cards flying out of Hol Horse from the Parrot Stand's attack
The Parrot's Stand, while still having an undefined ability, is a devastating long range stand.

Memory Punch Cards

The Parrot's Stan appears to use punched cards as it's primary form of attack. These punched cards are released from the rollers on the stands body. They are then punched and inserted into the target, before bursting out of their body through the mouth, ears, and other holes. There eyes also gain a dimpled texture, with multiple holes appering in them.

These Punched Cards force the enemy to re-experience past events, such as when it was used on Hol Horse he began to relive his confrontation with Dio. These past events even force people to reanact the event, such as Hol Horse moving to shoot as he did in his confrontation with DIO.[1] This can even be done to those who have not lived through said past event, as Hiraoka was forced to relive the experience of Wilson Phillips, which caused him to crash his car.[2]

Trivia

  • While no direct connection has been made, the eyes on the Parrot Stand's victims bare a striking resemblence to that of Moody Blues, another stand which revolves around replaying past events.
