Jumputi Heroes (ジャンプチ ヒーローズ, Janpuchi Hīrōzu) is a free mobile game for Android and iOS developed by Wonder Planet and distributed by LINE. The application released on March 28, 2018. It is a game which features a collection of characters from series serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump for the magazine's 50th anniversary.
On December 20, 2023, it was announced that the game will no longer be available to play. The purchase of rubies was available until February 20, 2024, and the game's servers officially closed down on March 27, 2024.[1]
Gameplay
Jumputi Heroes plays like a "Mugen Puchipuchi" where the player's objective is to pop bubbles in a board, trying to chain the longest possible number of the same color. Before entering battle, the player must set a team with the characters at their disposal. Parties consist of four main characters, each with three support slots, and a unique Legend Summon slot.
The battle is won when the enemy's HP bar is depleted and lost when the player's HP is drained. It is up to the players to manage the board and use their main characters and support skills to achieve victory.
Characters
The game has 1385 characters available from 120 series, all featured from the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Characters can be classified in five grades:
- Event: Free characters obtainable by participating in their events, tickets or tradable by points.
- Hero: Characters obtainable by summoning from banners or tickets.
- Celebration: Special characters introduced in festivals, obtainable by summoning from their banners or special tickets.
- Unmatched: Special characters introduced during anniversary celebrations and special occasions, obtainable by summoning from their banners or special tickets.
- Legend: Special characters introduced during anniversary celebrations and special occasions, obtainable by summoning from their banners.
Every character has three stats: HP, Attack, and Recovery. They also have three skills: a Special Skill, a Support Skill, and a Passive. To activate a Special Skill, the player must chain 7 or more bubbles of the same color, generating a "Skill Bubble". After popping that bubble, it will unleash the character's Special Skill. Support Skills activate by selecting them at the bottom of the screen. Passives, as their name suggests, work passively without player input needed.
