Touching anything—mineral or living—and reproducing it outside the body was akin to a miracle, comparable to a savior who turns flesh and blood into bread and wine.
El Aleph Chapter 14: XIV - Final Arc

Yawar Fiesta (血の祭り(ヤワル・フィエスタ), Yawaru Fiesuta, lit. Blood Festival) is the Stand of Pisco, featured in the light novel El Aleph.

Anything that comes into contact with Pisco's skin and mixes with his blood can be recreated inside his body as internal "stones".

Appearance

Pisco describes Yawar Fiesta as looking like a seahorse with a skeleton made of lead pipes, or in other words, a breast pump with a torso and four legs. It has glass-like eyes and a funnel-shaped mouth. Pisco thinks the mouth twitches as if it is smiling at him in mockery while he suffers from its excruciating pain.[1]

Personality

Yawar Fiesta is an enigmatic Stand which initially seems malevolent because of Pisco thinking of it as an external curse rather than a manifestation of his soul. He loathes it, comparing it to a hyena waiting for its prey to rot whenever it manifests. When Yawar Fiesta speaks through Pisco to Lisa Lisa, it acts indifferent, coldly and bluntly stating that Lisa Lisa would be murdered by El Aleph soon. However, it also claims that it doesn't inflict pain on others.[1]

Abilities

Blood Memory Solidification

Pisco initially describes the ability as a curse, as he cannot control it and finds it useless; its only purpose seemingly being to just harm its user. Any organic or inorganic material that comes into contact with Pisco's skin and mixes with his blood would randomly form anywhere under his skin as "stones", akin to the solid substances that human bodies produce like kidney stones or gallstones. The memories of his skin and blood create physical coagulations throughout his body. Before Pisco could control it, the ability is not instantaneous and can activate years later on its own. This causes his body to be covered in nodules under his skin, like grossly deformed tumors.

With this ability, Pisco is essentially capable of recreating things from the past if they came into contact with his blood, making actual clones of the objects or living beings. For example, the needle used for his tattoo appears under his skin years later, creating countless needle-like protrusions breaking through his skin. The memory of a fish that bit him also appears beneath his skin years later, swimming around and biting his bladder.

Eventually, Lisa Lisa motivates Pisco to see the power as an extension of his soul, claiming that if he could expel the stones from his body, it would be a blessing rather than a curse. As an example, she mentions that he could touch a diamond and become a millionaire by forming more diamonds within his body and expelling them out. Lisa Lisa uses the Ripple to strengthen Pisco's immune system and soothe his body, giving him newfound confidence. He manages to evolve his capabilities, allowing Yawar Fiesta to absorb the stones, needles, and fishes from his body, and then expel them outside. Moreover, Yawar Fiesta is capable of making an exact reproduction of the Arrow that pierced Pisco in the past, including the virus it contains.[1]

Prophecy

It is unclear whether this is part of Yawar Fiesta's abilities, but Lisa Lisa theorizes that it might be. Yawar Fiesta's voice takes over Pisco and telepathically warns Lisa Lisa that El Aleph will kill her. Only Lisa Lisa could hear and communicate with it, as J.D. Hernández states that both Lisa Lisa and Pisco were silent for a while from his perspective. While Yawar Fiesta is speaking, Pisco's pupils dilate and his voice deepens. Their surroundings also darken and it feels colder.[1] Regardless, the prophecy does not fully come true after Lisa Lisa encounters El Aleph.[2]
