ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Danai, I am a writer and artist (or so I want to believe), aspiring to be an animator in the future.

I was born in Athens, Greece, where I stayed for 13 years before moving to the Middle East. I love travelling and I want to travel to a bunch of different countries later on in life, though as of now I have only been to two (kind of ironic, isn't it?). My interests include drawing, I really enjoy writing at the moment, making edits, making animations (though as of now I'm very new to it so the struggle is real), and I've started trying to learn how to code. This is actually my first time being involved in a wiki community so you could say I have no idea what I'm doing, but if I can ever help with anything I'll make sure to do so.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

I started watching JJBA probably somewhere around September of 2023. It was a recommendation from a friend and the very first anime I'd have ever watched, so at first, I was skeptical (you could even say concerned), but I gave it a shot anyway. Though there was a mix-up and I started with episode 1 of Diamond is Unbreakable first instead of Phantom Blood, once I (properly) started I instantly adored it within the first part.

I believe the art style is what really dragged me in along with the plot, and it only got better when I moved on to Battle Tendency. Stardust Crusaders is the part that got me even more hooked than I already was, becoming my favorite part fairly quickly. I'm currently in the beginning of Stone Ocean (the anime), however, I have read a couple of volumes from the manga as well:

  • Phantom Blood: Volumes 1 & 3
  • Battle Tendency: Volumes 3 & 4
  • Stardust Crusaders: Volumes 1, 4, 7 & 10

I have also read TSRK 1, the Rohan spin-off, though I have yet to watch the anime adaptation. I already adore the manga, and I hope I will be able to find and read a majority of the parts (especially Stardust Crusaders) soon enough. I currently have a very limited experience with the JoJo games (unfortunately), as I have only played All Star Battle a few times. When it comes to the community as a whole, the JoJo community has got to be one of the best fandoms, despite the surprising number of people saying otherwise.
