Although it may be lacking in power... Yuya Fungami's Highway Star will never end its pursuit![3] (パワーはないが…この噴上裕也の『ハイウェイ・スター』! 追跡は決してやめないぜ!)
Yuya Fungami (噴上 裕也, Fungami Yūya) along with Highway Star, was confirmed for All-Star Battle R as the second playable DLC character for the game's Season Pass 2, as well as the sixth paid DLC character overall, on October 6, 2023.[1] He is slated for release on October 20, 2023, or October 18, 2023 for season pass owners.[2] He is included in the game's second season pass, and consequently, the Ultimate Edition as well.
In the English version of All-Star Battle R, Yuya's Stand, Highway Star, is localized as "Highway Go Go", carried on from its first official usage in All-Star Battle.[4]
Yuya uses the Stand (スタンド, Sutando) Battle Style, fighting foes with Highway Star. During a fight, he can use several different attacks that were featured in Diamond is Unbreakable.
Switches between User Mode and Stand Mode. Yuya can summon or dismiss Highway Star, altering his available abilities.
Drain Nutrients
Passive
When certain skills hit the opponent, they steal some of their health and HH Gauge. The absorbed health is then converted into slowly-regenerating white damage for Yuya, which will disappear if he is struck.
Moves that continually drain health and Heart Heat will be interupted if Yuya is hit or if he uses another move that utilizes Highway Star. These moves include:
"I've got you!"
"Attack by following their scent!"
Moves that drain a set amount of heath and Heart Heat include:
"It can appear and disappear freely..."
"Come on, haggle with me a little more."
"Shut up already, you idiot!"
"Now he's got your scent!" HHA
"Give me your nutrients!" GHA
Rumble Mode (ゴゴゴモード, Gogogo Mōdo)
Activates when under 30% health
This mode is automatically activated once Yuya falls below 30% health. It increases his attack power, as well as the rate at which the Heart Heat Gauge rises, while also decreasing the rate at which the Guard Gauge drops.
Skills [Stand Off] (コマンド技)
I got you!
+ // ON GROUND WHEN DOWNED
Yuya summons Highway Star, who splits apart and launches forward as a number of footprints. The footprints will then pursue the opponent until either Yuya takes damage, he uses a skill, HHA, or GHA, "Stand On" is activated, or the footprints touch the opponent's projectile or deployed object. If it hits, the opponent's health and Heart Heat will be drained, granting Yuya some white damage that will slowly restore his health unless he is hit. This projectile cannot be deflected and can be used to deal damage to a downed opponent.
Attack type: Unblockable

This skill can be used to deal damage to a downed opponent.
