When I have to repeat something that only needs to be said once, it means that the listener is unintelligent.
—Giorno Giovanna

Giorno Giovanna (ジョルノ・ジョバァーナ, Joruno Jobāna) is the main hero of Part V: Vento Aureo. He is the biological son of both Dio Brando and Jonathan Joestar. He was introduced as Haruno Shiobana, a Japanese teen living in Italy. As Giorno, he has dreams and aspirations to be a "GangStar" (a combination of the words Gangster and Superstar) and joins Passione to achieve it.

Appearance

Giorno has a slim build, appearing much more scrawny and petite in stature compared to the previous JoJos. He sports a blonde hair style combed back into a braided pony tail with three distinct odd-looking swirls in the front. Before he joined Buccellati's Gang, he had his hair free, looking similar to his father Dio. Giorno originally had black unkept hair; the alteration possibly due to having both Jonathan and Dio's genes. After he unlocks Gold Experience Requiem, Giorno's hair takes on a much more spiked pattern, where his pony tail is undone and all of his hair flows to the side.

Giorno wears a glossy two piece suit with the coat tail having a checkered design. The suit consists of several ornate features, including winged shaped emblems on the collars and a heart-shaped opening in the chest area. The most distinct feature is the three ladybug emblems located on each side of his chest and directly below the zipper. Later on, his shoes also have this same ladybug emblem on them. The color scheme for his suit often changes in different color pages behalf of Araki, though the most prominent colors are blue outlined with gold and pink outlined in green.
