Chapter 47
Summary
Joseph is seen crossing the road, only to be almost run over by a taxi. Joseph begins to threaten the driver, but is cut short when his grandmother, Erina Joestar, asks what he is doing. Joseph quickly covers up the situation by saying he hailed them a taxi; the three of them get in and head to a restaurant. While traveling, Smokey learns that Joseph is the grandson of Jonathan Joestar and the Joestar Men have a tendency to have short lives. Joseph lets out a question about Erina's relationship with Speedwagon, implying that they should get together, to which Erina responds with beating up Joseph with an umbrella. At the resaturant, a Gangster begins to insult smokey, and Joseph at the behest of her grandmother Erina confronts him defeating him easily. The companion of gangster reveals himself to be an agent sent from the Speedwagon Foundation and tells Joseph that Speedwagon was killed.
