Chapter 25
Summary
Speedwagon noticing Dio causes him to remember the death of George Joestar and become enraged at Dios past actions. Jonathan also has the image of George’s death in his mind as well. The young boy however remains baffled by all of this so Jonathan asks what his name is to which he says that his name is Poco. Jonathan then tells Poco to get on his back and hold on to his backpack straps as the trio then prepares to fight a hoard of undead knights Jonathan and Zeppeli armed with only their knowledge of the Ripple while Speedwagon takes up a sledgehammer to defend himself. Each character is able to fend off the hoard and eventually Zeppeli confronts Dio who is still standing atop the rock structure.
Zeppeli tries to get Dio to come down from the rock and fight him but Dio refuses this. Zeppeli then jumps in the air and tries to destroy Dio with the Sunlight Yellow overdrive but Dio counters this by freezing Zeppeli's arm by vaporizing the water and heat in his arm. This causes Zeppeli's arm to split open, seemingly unraveling itself and this almost causes Zeppeli to lose his breathing pattern. Dio prepares to crush Zeppeli's head with a punch but Jonathan intervenes blocking Dio's attack.
