Chapter 138
Yellow Temperance (3) is the one-hundred-thirty-eighth chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the twenty-fifth chapter of Part III: Stardust Crusaders.
Summary
Jotaro Kujo uses Star Platinum to save himself from the fall. He then wonders if he will need to cut one of his fingers to free himself from a piece of Yellow Temperance, and is taunted by Rubber Soul's claim that it has no weaknesses. He tries to burn the piece, but it doesn't work, so he borrows a popsicle from a boy in another cable car to freeze it. The piece of stand just expands more and Jotaro is warned by one of the passengers that fire and ice won't work. The woman is actually Rubber Soul, who snuck on the cable car without anyone seeing, killed the woman and took her form. He then assimilates a nearby dog who ends up being beheaded when his master tries to push him away from the stand. Rubber Soul asks Jotaro if "he understands" why his stand has no weakness: it can act as a armor and attack at the same time. Not seeing another option, Jotaro decides to use the Joestar's "secret technique": Run away. However, he drags Rubber Soul with him to water, where he almost drowns and needs to deactivate his stand to breath. Jotaro holds him in place asks if "he understands" why he's not a forgiving person before following with a elbow to his face.
