SO Chapter 3
Stone Ocean (3), originally I Can't Forgive You! in the WSJ release, is the five hundred ninety-seventh chapter of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga. It is also the third chapter of Stone Ocean.
Summary
Having been betrayed by her lawyer, Jolyne has been sentenced to fifteen years in prison. On her way to her cell, Jolyne falls over and begins unraveling into string. She realizes that she can control this string, and that no one else can see it. The guards take off her strait jacket and yell at her to get up. They take her to the level four maximum security prison, where she will spend the next fifteen years. They then instruct her to strip for an inspection. Once naked she mocks the guards, earning the respect of Ermes Costello who is watching nearby. During the inspection, Jolyne spots her lawyer in the prison, here to hand over some papers. He feigns being respectable and noble to one of the guards. The guards gives him a note from Jolyne reading that she will get back to him someday. Jolyne swears that she will escape Green Dolphin Street and enact her revenge. In his car the lawyer turns on the air conditioning, causing strings to come out of the fans and strangle him. His car crashes into the railway, heavily injuring the lawyer. Elsewhere in the prison, a prisoner carries the amulet Jolyne had received from her father.
