Good Smile Company, Inc. (株式会社グッドスマイルカンパニー, Kabushiki-gaisha Guddo-sumairu-kanpanī, also referred to as Good Smile or GSC) is a Japanese manufacturer of hobby goods and figures. Its most well known product lines include Nendoroid and figma, with the company additionally specializing in scale figures. Many of the companies products are based on pop culture properties that are popular in Japan, China, and the United States, with the vast majority being based on anime and video games.

While Good Smile initially planned to release products based on JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as early as 2009, products based on the series wouldn't be released until 2019.

Summary

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Good Smile's first planned collaboration with the series was revealed at Wonder Festival Summer 2008, where a prototype Jonathan Joestar figma was displayed for the first time. The figure was set to be part of the "di:stage" line, which would include additional background units and display landscapes. Planned for release in Winter 2009, the figure's release was cancelled, and figma have never been made for the series since.

The Nendoroid line as of 2024.

Good Smile would not announce products for the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series again until 2018, when the Jotaro Kujo Nendoroid was announced at Wonder Festival Winter 2018. While the line is developed by Good Smile, the figures are manufactured by Medicos Entertainment. As of 2024, 28 Nendoroids have been released for the series.

In February 2024, at Wonder Festival Winter 2024, Good Smile announced the very first POP UP PARADE figures featuring characters with JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, displaying figures of Jotaro Kujo and DIO. A release window for the figures has not yet been announced.
