"Distant Dreamer" is a song by Welsh singer Duffy (singer) from her debut studio album Rockferry, released in 2008. It is used as the ending theme for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean.

Summary
The ending consists of several shots of a 3D-composited seashore. The first shot features a medium close-up of the water flowing over the sand, moving foward across the screen from right-to-left and receding multiple times.

The scene then fades into a bird's-eye view of the beach panning right with the shoreline directly in the middle. Waves roll in from the bottom of the shot, while the top is casually populated with rocks and palm trees over sparse patches of grass closer inland. The view is occasionally disrupted by passing clouds.

The scene eventually fades again into a shot of golden hour with the perspective of one standing on the beach facing towards the ocean. In the foreground, various large rocks are scattered around the shore. Above the animated waves, several 2D-rendered clouds drawn in a style that mimics those seen in the manga slowly move from left to right. The sun is shown obstructed by the clouds, causing it to cast light beams in various directions.
"Modern Crusaders" is a 2000 song by the German experimental music project Enigma (musical project) from their fourth studio album The Screen Behind the Mirror. It is used as the second ending theme for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.

Summary
<tabber>Original=|-|Final=</tabber>
The ending sequence vertically pans up a pillar decorated with statues of Stands encountered in the series, which changes as more enemies and allies are met as the series progresses (the original sequence did not feature Notorious B.I.G, Spice Girl, Metallica, Green Day, Oasis or Chariot Requiem but following their introduction they were added to the ending sequence). During the entire sequence, the scenery is plunged into colored ambient lighting that constantly shifts color and flakes of dust constantly fall from above. The frame is also flanked by two sets of patterns made up of tessellated triangles.

The beginning of the sequence pans up the column featuring the enemy Stands encountered thus far, with a sphere representing Rolling Stones at the base of the pillar, with statues of other Stands on the pillar itself: Black Sabbath, Soft Machine, Kraft Work, Little Feet, Man in the Mirror, Mister President, Beach Boy, The Grateful Dead, Baby Face, White Album, Clash, Talking Head, Notorious B.I.G, Metallica, Green Day and Oasis.

The procession of enemy Stands ends, with a part of the pillar crowned by four Arrows and a ladybug brooch, before moving onto the Stands of the heroes doing battle with the boss. Purple Haze, Moody Blues, Aerosmith, Chariot Requiem, Sticky Fingers and King Crimson, with Sticky Fingers and King Crimson, depicted as fighting against each other as the Sex Pistols watch. Spice Girl is seen being held by King Crimson, pointing up towards Gold Experience as it poses at the top of the pillar in the center of a bas-relief resembling rays of light.

Final Version
The final episode uses a special version of the ending in which Rolling Stones fully takes the form of Bruno Bucciarati and Gold Experience is replaced by a statue of Gold Experience Requiem with its arms outstretched.
Trivia
*The position of the Stands of Team Bucciarati in relation to King Crimson foreshadows the fate of their users.
*As with the Statue at the start of Fighting Gold Gold Experience strikes the same pose Giorno does on the cover of Volume 62.
*Oasis and Gold Experience Requiem have noticeable differences between their appearance in the ending sequence, and their anime appearance.
**Oasis yields many more stitches. The stitches on the arms and legs, while they have kept their general location, are now vertical in rows of 2, and 3 on the legs. The stitches on the legs stretch all the way closer to the torso.
**Gold Experience Requiem has numerous grooves in comparison, with added grooves on the sides of the abdomen alongside two additional crater-esque indentations on the chest. The pattern on the shoulders have been replaced with a more manga-like upside-down right triangles pointing back, instead of the rhombus pattern.
*Echoes Act 3, Silver Chariot and the natural resource worker's Stand are the only Stands appearing in Part 5 that are absent in the ending sequence.
*The musical project Enigma has previously been featured in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as the namesake of Terunosuke Miyamoto's Stand Enigma.
*The Latin chanting in "Modern Crusaders" is a sample from the "O Fortuna movement from Carl Orff cantata Carmina Burana (Orff). The full song also features an organ sample from Johann Sebastian Bach "Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565.
"Great Days" is the third opening theme song of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable and the seventh overall opening theme of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime. The song is performed by the jazz vocalist Karen Aoki and Daisuke Hasegawa and composed by Yugo Kanno. The single was released on October 19, 2016.

A version of the song titled "Great Days -Units Ver.-" is performed by a group called JO☆UNITED, made up of vocalists from all of the anime's opening themes, and was released on December 24, 2016. This version was used as the ending theme of the final episode of Diamond is Unbreakable.

Opening Animation
The opening begins on a bland background before several motifs bearing the image of, in order of appearance, Josuke and Okuyasu, Koichi's and the three stages of Echoes, Yukako and Love Deluxe, Joseph, Jotaro's and Shizuka flash by, forming the word "JOJO" as a direct reference to the B cover of Chapter 321. The scene quickly changes to a flashing of the word "Breakdown" in English bearing Killer Queen's face. The word explodes twice before reforming itself, each time revealing mechanical pieces underneath the word. The scene transitions to the ocean near the docks of Morioh. Within the water are four different colored stars bearing the words "JOJO DU 04" on them. The scene suddenly flashes back to "Breakdown" again, this time when exploding, Sheer Heart Attack is shown underneath. Amidst a red and black diamond-checkered background Yoshikage Kira, disguised as Kosaku Kawajiri, emerges from the darkness. The "Breakdown" sign reappears again, this time revealing an emblem with Stray Cat on it while exploding. Cutting back to Kira, the checkered background parts in the middle to reveal the streets of Morioh at night while Kira raises his thumb. The "Breakdown" sign appears for the final time, now revealing Kosaku's head stripped of its facial features. Zooming in on Kira's face, he readies his thumb as if pressing a detonator while Jotaro, Joseph, Josuke, Okuyasu, Rohan, Koichi, and Yukako have their backs to him; unaware of what's happening. As Kira detonates his bomb, the scene explodes into a flash of white, revealing the title card.

Against a simple backdrop with a giant, sun-shaped clock bearing the word "Justice" in the background, the silhouette of Josuke appears. As the hands on the clock begin to move (one of which being Arrow-shaped), Josuke walks throughout the scene while leaving afterimages of himself behind. As the silhouette of Josuke walks into the daylight of his town, his body is clearly visible now as he strikes a brief pose. After posing, Josuke continues to move, leaving behind more afterimages of himself as he walks away into the distance. Okuyasu walks into the scene in the opposite direction of Josuke, also leaving a trail of afterimages behind him as he walks with his father. Yukako appears, trying to hide from Koichi with a hat, but the hat is blown away by the wind and she tries to hide without it but is happily surprised when he's happy to see her. Both of them also leave afterimages behind as they meet up. In the background composed of the distorted Morioh, several street signs read "SC 1987" and a star symbol, "DU 1999" with the Morioh "M" and "GW 2001" and a ladybug, alluding to the adjacent parts Stardust Crusaders, Diamond is Unbreakable and Vento Aureo.

The scene shifts to Rohan's mansion, with the camera panning through the doorway into the patio as Rohan looks out towards the street with his cup of tea; a deformed shadow briefly appearing on his back. Another door opens with the camera panning through it again, showing Masazo Kinoto with his back pressed to Rohan's front door. As Rohan looks on curiously, Mikitaka Hazekura appears in the background, standing horizontally on the wall of Rohan's house. The final door opens as the scene transitions to a field in Morioh with a bird flying through the air, leaving afterimages behind. In the field below, the words Lucky Land are formed into the tall grass, above a collection of crop circles. The scene pans over to reveal a radio tower with an obscured man standing on one of the tower's lines.

Shadows retract over the landscape, transitioning to a shot of Shinobu Kawajiri leaning up as a spotlight focuses on her resting her head in her hands lazily. Shinobu remains motionless as afterimages of her travel down a long room, only illuminated by a lone television set bearing the image of a man. The television set disappears as afterimages of Yoshikage Kira appear, holding Tama travel in the opposite direction of Shinobu's. Fading into the scene from the middle of the room is Hayato Kawajiri sitting alone at a dining table with a sad expression on his face. The afterimages of both Shinobu and Kira disappear as the background changes to a gloomy and dark night with Hayato now wearing his rain hat. Images of Kira slowly fill the background in a manner reminiscent of the Belgian painting Golconda (Magritte) as Killer Queen's hands descend from above to grasp Hayato's head, causing Hayato to look downwards. As all images fade away, Reimi's hand appears from the bottom as she points upwards to the gloomy sky, causing an aura of light to radiate from her hand and illuminate the sky.

The scene changes to the middle of Morioh, with posing silhouettes of Rohan and Yukako with their backs to the camera. As the shadows explode off their bodies, revealing their features with a "gyaan!" sound effect, the two turn around to strike a pose, with Rohan's being mirrored from one of his poses in Kishibe Rohan Meets Gucci. The scene pans over to another street, featuring Koichi, Okuyasu, and Jotaro; all turning to strike poses with a "zgyun" sound effect. Shifting back to Reimi's hand pointing upwards still, now having changed from night to day, the hands of all of Morioh's protectors rise up and join her to point towards the sky. The symbol for Morioh transitions the scene into a colorful yellow and green backdrop with the symbols of Crazy Diamond, The Hand, Echoes ACT3, Star Platinum, Heaven's Door and Hermit Purple forming a ring around the symbol. Inside the ring, we can also see symbols representing Pearl Jam, Bad Company, Earth Wind and Fire, Harvest, Highway Star, Surface, The Lock, Love Deluxe, Cinderella, and Achtung Baby. The ringed emblem of Morioh rotates like a clock to reveal the silhouette of Josuke pointing upwards before his features are revealed, showing him standing in a field with his comrades. As they all point towards the sky, the camera zooms upwards towards the sky, quickly passing by Reimi with her dog in the spirit world and the golden spirits of Shigechi, Aya and Keicho all pointing down towards Josuke and his allies below.

The scene transitions once again to a red and white diamond checkered background, with Yoshihiro Kira holding the Arrow. As he fades into the distance, a 9 representing Ken Oyanagi through the hole in his cheek, and the rock and paper from Janken comes into view, followed by another 9 representing Terunosuke Miyamoto and his Stand, Enigma. Followed by that is an image of Yuya Fungami with several feet placed over his body. The scene pans out to reveal all the enemy Stand users spelling out "1999" before transitioning into a dark room with the word "KILLA" on the ground. Standing in the room is Kira as he slowly turns to face a bright light, shielding his eyes as Killer Queen appears behind him. This transitions to the broken "JOJO" vine-entwined heart being restored by Crazy Diamond, who is standing on one of the rays of the sun-shaped Justice clock. The camera pans out as all the Stands of the protagonists are revealed one by one standing on different rays of the clock, pointing downwards to where all of Morioh's protectors stand against the "Justice" clock from the beginning, now wrapped with vines from Hermit Purple, as they all point upwards towards the heavens as the clock continues to tick on.

Original Version
Some changes were made to the opening animation after its original debut in Episode 27. These changes were also used starting with Episode 27 in the Blu-Ray versions. In the original version:

*Hirohiko Araki's name has been moved downwards.
*Kira's jacket has been redrawn to look more natural in some frames.
*The spacing in the scene where Kira presses Killer Queen's switch has been adjusted to look more natural. Koichi, in particular, is much higher up.
*The scene panning through Morioh has a more detailed background texture, the camera is adjusted slightly, and the sun, sky, and ocean are more detailed. The lighting also brightens more gradually.
*In the scene with Rohan's house, the fisheye effect goes inwards instead of out, the shading has been adjusted, and the banister and doorknob have been redrawn slightly.
*Rohan's face looks more detailed.
*The chair in Rohan's house vibrates less in the scene with Masazo Kinoto.
*At one point in the original, half of the chair vanishes. This is fixed.
*The shadow originally moved away from the top left in the shot with the seagulls, crop circles, and Superfly, but it now encroaches upon the top left.
*Shinobu and the background in her scene are colored to be more vibrant, while the red credits are less so.
*Shinobu now splits up into multiple copies in sync with Kira as opposed to before him. This changes the timing of the animation as well.
*Kira's side of the scene with him and Shinobu is lit darker. This slightly bleeds over into Shinobu's side as well.
*The credits are now spaced differently in some parts of the scene with the Kawajiri's, and at one point they fade in differently as well.
*Some of the floating Kiras fade in slower in Hayato's scene.
*In Hayato's scene, Kenta Mimuro's name has been added to the credits.
*The scene with the posing main characters has drastically improved detail on the backgrounds, which also have a grittier texture to them.
*In the original version, the scene with the posing main characters panned quickly towards their silhouettes before slowing down abruptly. These silhouettes showed the posing characters with colored highlights based on their color schemes, which then turned into full drawings of the same silhouettes. In the new version, there are multiple copies of the silhouette which is now completely dark, and once the full drawing is revealed, is animated to move into their final pose as opposed to being in that pose from the start.
*The characters have been redrawn very slightly as well to look more shaded and defined, although in the original TV broadcast Rohan's and Yukako's faces were not updated until Episode 37.
*The sound effect words for this scene are also much more vibrant.
*A table has been added next to Koichi in the posing scene.
*The background is moved in the scene where everyone points towards the sky.
*Morioh's logo is shaded better and has a slightly grittier overlay.
*The ghosts of Shigechi, Reimi, Arnold, Keicho, and Aya are now given a golden tint as opposed to being fully colored, whereas the clouds change from gold to white and the background is more focused.
*The 1999 numbers now have holes cut out of them as opposed to flat black and white areas.
*In the 1999 scene, the camera is slightly more zoomed-in.
*The original last scenes used reused animation of attack animations for characters, whereas the new version features all-new animation with a redone background for Kira, who now summons his Stand, Crazy Diamond fixing a heart locket with "JOJO" written on it, and the Stands of the main characters being seen before it zooms out to the final Justice dial.
*Almost every character in the final shot has been redrawn or readjusted in some way, and Surface can now be seen on the bottom right of the dial.

Bites the Dust Version
For Episode 36, a modified version of the opening animation has been broadcasted on TV as well as on Youtube on the official Warner Bros. anime channel in accordance with the advance of the anime into the Another One Bites the Dust story arc.

*While the opening animation begins normally, once Kira is in view, it instead reverses backward, skips to the normal end and finishes with Kira activating his bomb, and the title card closes the opening.
*Kira's appearance is now his updated one.
*Several psychedelic visual effects punctuate the opening.
*The second half of the song is used instead of the first half to accompany the animation.
*Several scenes have their tint altered, such as the one showing a seagull flying over a field.
*Hayato is now shown with a determined look on his face instead of the despair filled look in the previous versions.
*The scene showing Rohan at his patio is not only reversed, making the camera pan backwards, but is also repeated more times than usual, being possibly a reference to how many times Bites the Dust looped time.
*The reused Stand animations are featured once again, but Crazy Diamond's punch is reversed as images of Killer Queen flash on the screen.
*In the penultimate scene where Kira activates his bomb, the main cast featured in the background now turns around to face Kira, some like with Koichi angrily, instead of their backs turned. This foreshadows Kira's approaching demise.

Units Ver.
For Episode 39, a cover of Great Days called "Great Days -Units Ver.-" is featured. It is performed by the group JO☆UNITED, whose members are the vocalists of all of the anime's opening theme songs: JO☆STARS members Hiroaki "TOMMY" Tominaga ("~Sono Chi no Sadame~"), Coda ("BLOODY STREAM", "Fighting Gold"), and Jin Hashimoto ("STAND PROUD") (together performing "Sono Chi no Kioku ~end of THE WORLD~"); THE DU's Jun Shirota, Taisuke Wada, and Jeity ("Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town"); batta's Tatsu Hoshino ("chase"); and Karen Aoki and Daisuke Hasegawa (the original version of "Great Days", as well as Uragirimono no Requiem in Daisuke’s case. Karen wrote the English version of Uragirimono no Requiem as well).

*According to the opening director Yasufumi Soejima, the shining gadget "Justice" sun presented at the beginning and end of the opening animation is supposed to symbolize Jonathan Joestar.
*The last two openings were designed in reference to the Star Wars films with "chase" representing the feeling of The Empire Strikes Back, and "Great Days" as Return of the Jedi.
*The title of the song, "Great Days" is very similar to the Japanese romanization of Josuke's catchphrase, "Gurēto daze".
*Having been arranged by the series' composer, the intro to this song bears similarities to the tune of the Diamond is Unbreakable main theme, particularly with the repeated use of the word "Breakdown".
*In the full version of the song, towards the end, the song is reversed back to the "Breakdown" lyrics momentarily; a clear reference to Killer Queen's third bomb, "Bites the Dust".
*The font used throughout the beginning of the opening, most notable with Hirohiko Araki's name, bears an incredible similarity to the Yes (band) album cover Close to the Edge.
*The group pose at the end of the opening is shared with the Volume 41 cover, with slight alterations. Reimi, Arnold, Tamami, Hazamada, Mikitaka, Tonio, and Shizuka are added in contrast.
"Last Train Home" is an instrumental composition by the Pat Metheny Group from their 1987 album Still Life (Talking). It is used as the second ending theme for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, specifically the second half of the anime.

Pat Metheny Group's first greatest hits album titled Essential Collection Last Train Home was released in Japan on March 4, 2015, featuring artwork from the ending credits of the anime on the cover. The Last Train Home collection contains selections from the band's albums released by Geffen Records and Warner Bros. Records, spanning from 1987 to 2002, except from the 1996 album Quartet.

Summary
The ending opens with a slow fade-in from black, depicting the deserts of Egypt at night. As the screen scrolls horizontally, the skies over Egypt continuously transition from night to day. Several billboards and street signs are shown along with images of various characters.

The camera then pans out to reveal the Joestar group quietly enjoying a train ride, Polnareff and Iggy look out of the window as Kakyoin smiles at them. Avdol is reading a book as Jotaro smiles at his sleeping grandfather, Joseph, who is holding three train tickets.

The scene then continues scrolling to reveal the characters amidst Egyptian ruins. Looking out across a small body of water connected by a bridge, Jotaro, Joseph, and Polnareff are shown smiling at Avdol, Kakyoin, and Iggy; who are gathered around a campfire on the other side. This possibly references the fates of the Crusaders by the time the adventure ends.

With the sun shining brightly in the sky, the wind erases Jotaro's footsteps as he gazes out at the city of Cairo before walking away. The screen fades to a Polaroid photograph lying on a patch of dry, cracked earth. A gust of wind causes the photo to blow away as another fade occurs. This reveals the photograph to be the group photo the Crusaders took upon finally reaching Egypt.
Trivia
*Several scenes throughout the ending sequence foreshadow the deaths of Avdol, Kakyoin, and Iggy:
**Joseph is seen holding three tickets instead of six, foreshadowing the ending of the arc.
**One scene shows Polnareff, Kakyoin, Jotaro, and Avdol admiring some ruins; while the former three are facing right, Avdol has his back turned, staring at an obelisk in the background, alluding to him being the first of the Stardust Crusaders to die.
**One scene shows Avdol, Iggy, and Kakyoin on the other side of a land divided by a body of water, connected by a bridge. This alludes to Yomi, an underground realm in Shinto mythology where the spirits of the deceased go, being separated from the living by a river. This is also a belief (albeit in a modified form) shared by Egyptians.Cite
*Kakyoin can be seen briefly holding a book with the title Golden Wind. This same book appears in Episode 3 of the Part 5 anime.
*In a 2013 interview for NHK Educational TV's SWITCH Interview: Tatsujin-tachi with composer Akira Senju, Hirohiko Araki discussed how music has influenced JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and revealed that Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays' album As Falls Wichita, so Falls Wichita Falls was an influence on his writing of Steel Ball Run and its 19th century American setting.
Opening Animation
The opening begins with a grey, drab visual of a heart with an anchor in the middle bearing the name "JoJo". Thorns from Hermit Purple wrap around the heart as a purple pulse monitor flashes across the screen. The pulse monitor then becomes erratic as if a heart attack, turning into electricity as the scene transitions into a cul-de-sac with the main cast standing in the middle while the camera rotates around them. The scene flashes to cans of soup in a freezer bearing the hands of several women while a superimposed "JoJo" is plastered across the image. The scene flashes back to the cast, zooming in on Josuke as he strikes a pose before rotating to feature Okuyasu also posing. The scene then flashes to an image of several suitcases with destination stickers of countries from around the world, one of which being Egypt where the arrow came from, beneath them a puddle of blood and behind them a cracked door with light shining through. The scene then rotates to feature Joseph Joestar holding baby Shizuka before rotating again to feature Jotaro posing.

The scene swiftly transitions to a photograph of Koichi happily sitting next to all of his friends, along with, Toshikazu, Tamami, and Shigechi—all striking poses and pointing at the sky, except for Yukako, who is staring happily at Koichi, and Rohan, who is pointing towards where Reimi's alley should be. The camera zooms out to feature several other Polaroid photos all lying on the ground, tire marks covering them. The Killer's hand suddenly appears on all of the photos at once and smashes down on them before distorting into a skull. The photographs all erupt into flames and disintegrate as the main title appears from the fire.

The title then turns into multiple sticky notes which each of the title's hiragana letters on them. These then scatter as the scene transitions to a field with Okuyasu and Toshikazu looking at Shigechi feeding a flock of pigeons. Suddenly, a finger appears on screen as the Killer violently trims his nail; with the reflections of Aya Tsuji, Shigechi and Reimi appearing in the fingernail's reflection. The scene quickly shifts back to Shigechi and the others as the pigeons become spooked and fly off. The position of the scissors was lined up to where Shigechi's neck is, foreshadowing his fate.

After a transition, Rohan appears as he sketches the birds flying off into the distance and near electrical pillars from the sanctity of his home. Rohan then looks up from his notebook and out the window with a solemn gaze. A single pigeon transitions the next scene, as the focus shifts to Toshikazu and Tamami arguing on the sidewalk while Josuke and Koichi chat with Okuyasu. On the screen, Bug-Eaten and the other rats appear above them before slowly panning to the anchor within the heart from earlier. The heart takes up the scene as everything else fades into black. Suddenly, a decrepit hand with long fingernails reaches out and clutches the heart in its hand, causing the thorns surrounding it to shatter as the background turns red. Out of nowhere, the skull of Sheer Heart Attack appears and eats the heart and hand with a single chomp; causing the thorns to spurt blood as if they were arteries. Out of darkness appears the newly evolved Echoes ACT3; shrouded in darkness (up until it Episode 24 after its full reveal) its eyes glowing, with the silhouettes of Koichi and Hazamada changed into books in the background. Several green soundwaves appear from Echoes' body as this transitions into Love Deluxe and Cinderella side-by-side. Several arrows shoot down from above as both Stands each transform into their respective users, Yukako and Aya. The camera zooms out on the two sitting women as Aya clutches Yukako's face, a thin line of white rectangles separating them while blue lights shine from above.

The camera unexpectedly zooms back in, now showing the white rectangles as windows with Reimi holding hands with a young Rohan. The hands disappear as the scene distorts into several windows which now show the Killer holding one of the severed hands of his "girlfriends". The hands phase away as an old man holding a single bleeding arrow menacingly appears inside pictures, simply motionless. The man disappears as the camera zooms into where he once was, now traveling through Reimi's alley as the spirits of Arnold and Reimi appear, crying out in apparent pain. The camera zooms behind her as thick, sketchy lines depict the skull of Killer Queen briefly transforming into several black Arrows.

The Arrows all fire out at Jotaro, Okuyasu, Koichi, and their Stands, barely missing them as they prepare for battle. The scene pans slowly over to Josuke, who with a furious look on his face, summons Crazy Diamond and shatters the Arrows into several pieces. As Crazy Diamond lets out a roar, shattering the remaining Arrows, Josuke breaks through as he desperately reaches out to catch the murderous silhouette of the Killer. The camera zooms closer in an attempt to reveal the Killer's face as he merely turns his head towards Josuke, revealing a cold, blue feline-like eye.
Trivia
*According to the opening director, Yasufumi Soejima, the pigeon feeding scene originally had scripted dialogue consisting of Okuyasu telling Hazamada "not to kill the pigeons again", and Hazamada claiming he would never do such a thing.
*So far, chase is the shortest opening song in the series, with the full version being only slightly over two minutes.
*The opening adds Reimi and Arnold to the group photograph, behind Rohan, from Episode 18 onward.
*After Echoes ACT3 is revealed, the opening removes its shadow obscurity and has it replace ACT2 next to Koichi.
*The flames burning up the photos of Josuke and his friends are likely a reference to Cheap Trick trying to get Rohan to burn the photos that reveal Kira's new identity.
*This is the only opening song to have an official music video.
*There's an inconsistency with Aya Tsuji's eye color. In the opening, she has brown eyes. Otherwise, in the anime, her eyes are blue.
*Similar to STAND PROUD, chase has an "Acoustic Version" of the opening that features a slowed-down tempo with more of a melancholy tone.
*chase is used in the least amount of episodes compared to the other openings used in the 3rd season, appearing in only 9 episodes compared to Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town's 11 and Great Days' 12.
*A bonus track from batta's album 'prelude' features an all-English version of the song as sung by batta himself, making it the third JoJo-related music to have official English versions, after Great Days and Fighting Gold and before Uragirimono no Requiem.
The single was released on April 27, 2016.
Opening Animation
On a darkly lit stage littered with "JoJo" signs and illuminated by multiple multi-colored lights, Josuke Higashikata, Koichi Hirose, Okuyasu Nijimura and Jotaro Kujo all stand together as the scene pans around them. Colorful pop-art portraits of the foursome flash by before cutting back to the stage as all four reach their hands up towards the ceiling as confetti flies about, with their poses highly reminiscent of the widely-recognizable Saturday Night Fever pose.

The scenery then changes shots of Morioh as silhouettes of all the Stand users in Morioh flash by at blinding speed. The scene then changes to an aerial view of Japan as the camera zooms into Morioh, with the view quickly descending through clouds and towards the ground. The logo then appears, flashing before breaking into many pieces.

The scenery changes yet again to Josuke walking on the street surrounded by people and street signs, which reference different Stands and plot points throughout the Part. The scene zooms onto Josuke who turns to the left as the scene changes to focus on Koichi. Koichi, surrounded by green and purple backdrops, looks around nervously as the scene zooms out: revealing his shadow to be that of Yukako Yamagishi gazing at him. The scene then switches to Okuyasu, who is knelt on the ground next to a soft-drink can. Once again, the scene zooms out to reveal Okuyasu's shadow as that of his brother, Keicho Nijimura aiming the Bow and Arrow before morphing into their father. However, unlike with Koichi, these shadowing figures disappear as Okuyasu slowly stands up before kicking the can which leads into a transition of a picture of Josuke on the can, possibly referencing the battle with Atom Heart Father.

The can rotates clockwise before transitioning into Josuke walking down his home street as disco lights illuminate him. Josuke strikes a pose, leading to Crazy Diamond appearing from his side as diamond-sparkles fill the scene. The scenery changes to Koichi running down a separate street with disco lights shining on the pavement. Koichi also strikes a pose, yet his Stand does not appear which references the fact he has not yet obtained his Stand by this point. Colorful ripples then change the scenery to feature Okuyasu strolling down a sidewalk. He then leans backwards, which prompts The Hand to appear from his opposite side; mirroring the pose he's in. The scene zooms into them both before breaking apart to reveal Jotaro standing by himself. Jotaro then strikes his trademark pointing pose, with Star Platinum appearing from his side, mimicking him. As multiple colorful ripples dot across the scene, the scenery suddenly pans out and upwards towards the sky.

The scene transitions into a map of Morioh, with Josuke, Koichi, Okuyasu, Toshikazu Hazamada, Tamami Kobayashi, Yukako and Tonio Trussardi all dancing along to the song. Jotaro himself appears last and smiles rather than dance as the scene then changes to feature only Crazy Diamond. Crazy Diamond punches the background, destroying it and reforming it as an entirely new background. The Hand then appears and uses its power to erase the background completely.

The scenery then changes to feature Josuke, Okuyasu, and Koichi all standing on the streets on Morioh; staring at a building complex. Josuke then turns around with a stoic expression on his face as the others turn with him. The scene then pans out as the trio gaze upon the town of Morioh in its entirety from atop a hill. The scene then focuses towards the sky itself before immediately cutting to Josuke, Okuyasu, Koichi and Jotaro all striking a pose in front of a colorful background.

Altered Versions
The Opening, starting from Toshikazu Hazamada (Surface) and onwards includes Koichi's Stand, Echoes. Koichi now poses with Echoes ACT 1, which produces the word MYSTERY, in green. Colorful ripples (or the word created by Echoes, after "Koichi Hirose (Echoes)") then change the scenery to feature Okuyasu strolling down a sidewalk. Later on, after The Hand appears to erase the screen, Echoes ACT1 manifests itself on the wall behind The Hand.

In "Yukako Yamagishi Is in Love (1)" and "Yukako Yamagishi Is in Love (2)", "Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town (EDM Arrangement ver.)" is used in lieu of the normal music. The opening credits were accordingly modified to reflect the usage.
Trivia
*This is the first JoJo opening song not made by Kamikaze Douga, instead opting for traditional animation.
**This is also the first JoJo opening song that doesn't run well into the 4 minute mark, only playing little into 3 minutes.
*The character's silhouettes featured in the beginning of the opening belong to the following (in order): Josuke Higashikata, Koichi Hirose, Okuyasu Nijimura, Keicho Nijimura, Aya Tsuji, Stray Cat, Akira Otoishi, Tamami Kobayashi, Yoshihiro Kira, Masazo Kinoto, Anjuro Katagiri, Toshikazu Hazamada, Terunosuke Miyamoto, Shizuka Joestar, Yoshikage Kira, Mikitaka Hazekura, Joseph Joestar, Yuya Fungami, Toyohiro Kanedaichi, Yukako Yamagishi, Rohan Kishibe, Shigekiyo Yangu, Bug-Eaten & Not Bug-Eaten, Tonio Trussardi, Ken Oyanagi and Jotaro Kujo.
*As Josuke walks down the street, different street-signs can be spotted. The designs include: the town emblem of Morioh, a dollar sign similar to the ones on Okuyasu's uniform, the skull from Yoshikage Kira's tie, Rohan's pen nib, "Crazy Diamond JOJO" with peace signs and a heart with Jotaro's "hand emblem" in the middle; as well as signs with both "Ora Ora" and "Dorarara" in katakana.
**During this scene, Tonio's Restaurant can also be spotted.
*Although hinting at characters and events throughout Part 4, the initial airing of this opening only shows characters through the "Let's Go Out for Italian" arc. In addition, it does not reveal Koichi Hirose's eventual Stand until the episode after it awakens in the battle against The Lock (despite showing both Okuyasu and The Hand prior to their revelation in the story).
*During the song's chorus where the characters are shown dancing, Tamami prematurely appears (as if out of nowhere) walking into the montage in the first edition of the opening. As of the opening alteration which introduces Koichi's Stand, this mistake was fixed by having him walk into the scene naturally from offscreen.
Opening Animation
The opening scene shows Jonathan posing for the camera along with the opening Sono Chi No Sadame playing behind him, the younger Joseph attacking it with his Ripple overdrive and a clip of Bloody Stream being played on top of him, before it shows Jotaro, initially turning his back on the screen, then turning around and pointing at the screen and summoning Star Platinum, who then unleashes his blazing fists. The Katakana characters "Jo" can be seen popping out at the screen as Star Platinum punches repeatedly before the logo is seen entirely.

The next scene after the logo shows the camera rising out of the ocean, staring at the full moon, referencing DIO's return. Five shooting stars, representing the five Crusaders, zooming into the skyline before crashing into the ground. A sixth shooting star is seen briefly at the far right, representing Iggy who is yet to be introduced. After the shooting stars come crashing down, the scene zooms into the darkness of DIO's mansion. The camera then flies up a staircase, briefly showing the bug that pinpointed his current location, zooming next to DIO's shady figure, emphasizing his Joestar birthmark, courtesy of Jonathan's body. DIO swipes at the camera causing the scene to change.

The camera zooms out from the eyes of Star Platinum, Jotaro keenly observing a Polaroid picture of DIO along with Avdol and Joseph. The scene changes as the party quintet (with Kakyoin and Polnareff) walks, reflecting the many places they'll be traveling, with Hol Horse being briefly seen. They are then seen riding camels in the desert, then all of them standing in a row side by side, Polnareff jumping excitedly and then all of them converging around a fire campfire, all before they watch the sunrise together.

A group of important characters, moments, and items are seen tangled in a web of red thorns coming from Holy's back, including Lisa Lisa, George II, Erina, Jonathan holding Dio's head, George I, and the Stone Mask, which then all flow into a crouching Jotaro. Jotaro then stands up sharply, with his Stand emerging from him.

A brief sketchy illustration of DIO is seen, in white over red, showing his shoulders and his neck with stitches. The camera then spins round him, the view briefly showing an x-ray view of the neck, emphasizing the break from his neck bone and spine showing where Jonathan's body ends and DIO begins. DIO flicks his hair and stares into the camera with an evil smirk, which then zooms into his eyes.

The quintet then demonstrates their Stands, starting with Joseph, Avdol, Kakyoin, and Polnareff. In the background we see the plane Gray Fly attacked them on, Forever's Strength, the cable car Rubber Soul attacked Jotaro on, and finally the Sun blaring in the desert. They all then travel through a 3D-rendered scene with many writings, Katakana and English characters revolving around, namely ORA, JoJo, LUCKY LAND, and others. As Jotaro zooms in, Joseph emerges from the other end, using his Stand to travel, while Avdol, Polnareff, and Kakyoin demonstrate their Stand's powers one after the other.

A brief view of Jonathan closing his eyes (presumably from his death scene at the burning boat), Joseph opening his eyes as he ties the bandanna that came from his fallen friend Caesar around his head, and Jotaro looking up, is then seen, while the song chants "JOJO!" three times, presumably counting the three.

The next scene has the tarots revolve around, with Star Platinum and Jotaro emerging, and a heavily obscured DIO. The scene changes with Jotaro posing, then clutching his Gakuran hat, and sharply tweaking it at the tip, with Star Platinum emerging from him. The final scene shows Star Platinum punching a glass pane, behind which is DIO. Jotaro stands stoically as Star Platinum repeatedly punching the glass pane until eventually smashing it, the perspective actively changing. Finally, the fist of Star Platinum emerges from the cracked and shattered glass.

*The cover art resembles a Baoh the Visitor artwork used for Issue #45 of Weekly Shonen Jump 1984.

*In regards to the full-length version, STAND PROUD is the longest opening in the anime series to date.
*At the beginning of the opening, Jonathan Joestar's pose is a reference to the cover of Volume 2 of Phantom Blood, Young Joseph's pose is a reference to the cover of Volume 7 of Battle Tendency, and Jotaro's pose is a reference to the cover of Volume 3 of Stardust Crusaders .
*The opening has some nods to the events of Part 3, such as having Strength, the cart where Yellow Temperance absorbs the dog and The Sun being in the background behind Joseph, Avdol, and Polnareff. Additionally, during the traveling montage, different locations from Part 3 can be seen, such as the fields where the battle with Judgement took place as well as a quick glimpse of Hol Horse walking past them.
*In addition, Polnareff and Kakyoin are shown in the intro before they join the Crusaders.
*Due to joining the team only after they finally arrive in Egypt. Iggy isn't seen anywhere in the opening. However, during the opening there are shooting stars representing the main characters with one being far away from the others, most likely being a reference to Iggy not yet joining the team at that time. In the final episode before the Egypt arc, Iggy's allusion was confirmed by adding a distant dog howl as the stars descend. Afterwards, Iggy has since been properly represented in the following opening sequence, Sono Chi no Kioku.
*A softer, more sentimental version of the song was also performed by Jin Hashimoto and appropriately called "STAND PROUD Dramatic Ver.". It was included on the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Anthology Songs 3 album.
*At around the 23-second mark, the credits for series composition changes shape to say "WRYYYYYYY" (DIO's iconic cry) as they leave the screen.
"BLOODY STREAM" is the second opening theme song of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Anime, animated by Studio Kamikaze Douga. The song is associated with the second arc of the series, Battle Tendency and was a single by Japanese musician Kazuso Oda under the stage name "Coda".

The song is noted as having an emotional and fashionable tune, with the husky yet charming voice of the song's vocalist adding a further stylish nature to the song as a whole. Jun Yamamoto of Billboard (magazine) said that he felt that the horns and funky sound of the song compliment the story of Joseph Joestar and his battle against the Pillar Men Esidisi, Wamuu, and Kars, further mesmerizing him and drawing him into a "bizarre world".

In its first week of sales, "Bloody Stream" sold 21 thousand units, reaching the number 4 spot on the Oricon's Weekly Album Charts. It also reached number 7 on Billboard's Japan Hot 100, 3 on the Japan Hot Single Sales chart, and number 2 on the Japan Hot Animation chart.
Opening Animation
The opening starts off with a quick montage of Joseph suiting up, eventually leading up to the Title emerging from a rock.
After this, the title quickly fades away as a silhouette appears of Joseph doing various poses with various colors flying around in the background. The camera zooms out and silhouettes of the three Pillar Men standing in front of a background of red fire are seen. The scene then changes into showing all three Pillar Men frozen in stone.

A second montage begins showing various colored characters from the manga, including Erina Joestar, Lisa Lisa, and Smokey Brown. Between the transition of Lisa Lisa and Smokey, an X-Ray can be seen showing the skeleton of Joseph with his throat and heart areas glowing, showing where the poison rings were placed by Wamuu and Esidisi. Another silhouette performance commences, only this one is of Lisa Lisa, and it eventually shifts to Caesar, unleashing multiple kicks and performing a high jump with only his knees. After Caesar's performance, Joseph's and Caesar's silhouettes are seen fighting up until Joseph blocks Caesar's punch and they become fully visible for a brief instant, showing that they are only playfully sparring. Another silhouette of Joseph is shown again using his Clackers, but he eventually gets tangled in them and falls down. A naked Lisa Lisa is seen spinning in the air with rose petals about. After which, the screen becomes black and the Red Stone of Aja slowly falls into place like a pendulum. Multiple blue hands attempt to grab it, with a couple dying off as the stone pulls away from them. Another montage occurs showing Speedwagon, Straizo, Suzi Q crying, Loggins and Messina, Stroheim doing a Nazi salute and Santana frozen in stone.

After this, the three other Pillar Men are shown attacking. Wamuu unleashes a Divine Sandstorm, Esidisi uses his flame mode while flailing his blood vessels, and Kars slices the camera's eyes out with one of his Light Blades. The camera zooms out showing the Pillar Men standing on a rocky pillar in front of a full moon. Joseph and Caesar are facing them and prepare to battle. After a brief shot of the Stone of Aja, Kars as the Ultimate Life Form is seen with the sun shining behind him.

The scene switches to a rotation of Caesar and Joseph showing off fighting moves as the title 'JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE PART2' scrolls by in the background. After a few rotations, Joseph spin kicks out of the frame and Caesar drops his arms and makes a disdainful scream, with a distinct red bubble (referring to the battle between Caesar and Wamuu) flying past to the screen. The scene transitions to Joseph donning Caesar's headband and yelling into the night sky as a shooting star flies across the sky. The opening ends with the Red Stone of Aja embedded in stone and glistening.
Trivia
*The clothes that Joseph and Caesar wear on the cover are inspired by Jolyne Cujoh and Stone Free.
*During Joseph's posing sequence, spiked purple trails appear in the background behind him referencing his future Stand, Hermit Purple.
*When Wamuu performs his Divine Sandstorm at 0:52, the kanji used for the studio Kamikaze Douga briefly changes into Kamiarashi Douga.
*During the final scene, after Joseph screams, a shot of the starry sky with a shooting star is seen, which is referencing Kars's fate in the finale.
*In the US television airing on Toonami, the opening was edited down to 23 seconds to fit American television guidelines for several more commercials than Japanese television broadcasts.
*This is the only opening so far to not directly state the name of the opening within the song.
is the first opening theme song of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Animation, animated by Kamikaze Douga. Associated with the first arc of the series, Phantom Blood, the song is the debut solo release of Hiroaki "TOMMY" Tominaga.

The song is written by Shoko Fujibayashi, composed by Kohei Tanaka (composer), and arranged by Kow Otani. Both Fujibayashi and Tanaka are noted for their contributions to theme songs, having previously worked together on "We Are!" for One Piece. Tominaga's vocals and the accompanying brass band were said to give the whole song an "anime song groove" that harkens back to much older and love-theme songs. The lyrics resonated well with the story of Phantom Blood, and Jun Yamamoto for Billboard (magazine) said he "could almost feel the passion and ambition that Jonathan Joestar had in his fight against Dio Brando".

"JoJo ~Sono Chi no Sadame~" did moderately well in the charts, peaking at 14 on the Oricon's Weekly Album Charts. On Billboard's Japan Hot 100, it debuted at 52 and peaked at 19; on the Japan Hot Animation chart, it debuted and peaked at 5; and on the Japan Hot Singles Sales it debuted and peaked at 10, and left the charts after the week of February 25, 2013, after a 12-week run. When the subsequent theme song, "Bloody Stream," by Coda entered the charts, "JoJo (Sono Chi no Sadame)" was seen on the Oricon to jump from a ranking of 65 to 41 in one week.
Opening Animation
The opening serves as an abbreviated version of the part, showing the major highlights of Phantom Blood.

It begins with a quick montage of manga scenes featuring the first six JoJo protagonists shown in reverse order (Jolyne, Giorno, Josuke, Jotaro, Joseph, and finally Jonathan) each animated panel showing at least two of their most memorable moments. When Jonathan appears he emerges from his panel, color filling his body, before smacking the camera, causing the title to appear.

From there the camera moves through a tunnel towards a door, which slams open into a stylized version of the Joestar Mansion. A young Jonathan is seen, framed like a portrait, Dio then jumps out of a painting, like he did when arriving at the Mansion, and the two stare each other down. The scene shifts over to a rotating Statue of the Goddess of Love. A sudden spin of the statue turns it into an arm holding the Stone Mask and another spin turns it into, what is presumably, Jonathan's arm holding a knife, carving his and Erina's name into a tree. Erina is shown blushing and attempts to move in for a kiss from Jonathan, but is surprised and horrified when Dio kisses her instead. The scene then changes to Dio's perspective, as an enraged Jonathan appears and punches the camera, causing its gaze to shift onto the Stone Mask as blood splatters on it. The Stone Mask's eyes glow and the camera rotates behind it, as tendrils emerge from the mask and pull the camera in.

The scene changes to when the police attempt to shoot Dio after he has put on the Stone Mask. Dio flies back after being shot and the window shatters. One of the broken pieces of glass shows the reflection of Jonathan holding his dying father. A moment later, Jonathan's arm points toward the sun. Dio, after gaining his new vampire abilities, is seen walking up the wall of the burning Joestar mansion. The room spins and Dio appears up close holding the Stone Mask. He stabs a knife into the camera and another montage of scenes from the manga, featuring him as a child to an adult, commences.

After a quick worried glance from Erina, a scene starts up with Jonathan staring at the darkness at the top of some stairs. Swinging his arm, the Ripple shoots through his body. Jonathan then proceeds to walk up the stairs. He gradually picks up speed and starts running until his eyes are close up with his pupils filled with the flames of rage. At the top of the stairs, Dio sits on a throne, holding the Stone Mask in front of his face. A quick zoom into a reverse montage of scenes from the manga starts up, including one featuring Zeppeli at his last moments with Jonathan, which starts with the confrontation before their fight and ends with Dio and Jonathan meeting as children. Jonathan is then seen charging his Ripple overdrive and punches Dio. Dio attempts to block it. The camera rotates and zooms out from the battle up a long flight of spiral stairs. A moment later, the Stone Mask is seen falling into the ocean and slowly sinks to the bottom.

In the U.S. airing of Phantom Blood on Toonami, the opening was edited down to 30 seconds to fit American television guidelines for several more commercials than Japanese television broadcasts.
Opening Animation
In a dark background of turning gears and a swinging pendulum, it shows Jonathan Joestar, Dio Brando, Joseph Joestar and Jotaro Kujo, with the pendulum progressively moving upwards. The music also has a heartbeat which synchronizes with the pendulum's swing, referring to how Jotaro had to stop his heartbeat to trick DIO. Each of the characters overlap the gears in the background, until DIO is shown in between the gears, referencing the power of The World and how DIO believes he has escaped the bonds of time and fate, but Jotaro appears and DIO is seen overlapping the gears again, referencing Jotaro pulling him back into his fate.

After the pendulum's last swing, the scenery changes to the desert with clockwork gears strewn about. Here, the sextet demonstrates their powers, most notably with Jean Pierre Polnareff dual-wielding rapiers, implying him unwillingly falling again under DIO's control via Anubis, the Sun is seen behind him in a way that references his battle with Vanilla Ice. The scenery changes after Silver Chariot unleashes splitting and swinging attacks, at what appears to be Kenny G's labyrinth.

The sextet are then seen climbing a dark staircase, a spotlight swings left and right 4 times, each swing showing a silhouette of Egyptian gods, foreshadowing the enemies whose Stands are based on the deities. The scene switches to the downward view of the staircase, with Polnareff and Joseph on the left, Jotaro on the center, and Iggy, Muhammad Avdol and Noriaki Kakyoin on the right side. The scene zooms into Jotaro before the staircase shatters around him. Jotaro then summons Star Platinum in sync with Jin Hashimoto's singing part. This scene is yet another foreshadowing of who survives and who would become victims, with the soon-to-be-fallen appearing on the right side of the screen.

The scene changes into the sextet standing on top of a building, watching the sky turn into dusk, and the lights turning on at the Cairo skyline, circles highlighting where DIO uses The World's power. The pendulum swings, each showing the heroes fade into a silhouette, and speed lines seemingly surrounding them. This is actually a foreshadowing of the fate of the heroes, cleverly disguised as visual effects. The most notable is how Jotaro briefly moves a finger during the freezing, implying his eventual tolerance to The World's time stop abilities. The scene changes into shooting stars, with the sextet emerging from it, referencing an artwork by Hirohiko Araki. The sextet is seen standing shoulder to shoulder, which then very briefly switches to them having their Stands out.

Jotaro is then seen reaching the top of a flight of the stairs, his fists clenching, with Star Platinum emerging from within, who then unleashes blazing fists. A view of The World can be briefly seen before the screen shatters. The scene zooms onto Jotaro's face, with a silhouette of who appears to be DIO appearing to the right. Jotaro immediately turns around and unleashes a barrage of punches.

The scene changes into a flurry of ORA, in Katakana, which turns into JO, also in Katakana. All three singers chant Jotaro's battle cry repeatedly. A view of Star Platinum and The World trading punches can be seen briefly. The Jo☆Stars shout "ORA!!" as the logo shows, that is later vaporized by what appears to be the sun, the same fate that ultimately finished off DIO.

Altered Versions
The Opening during DIO's World (3), and subsequently The Faraway Journey, Farewell Friends, has a different ending entirely. Rather than leaving to Star Platinum punching the screen, The World punches it as well as DIO calls out his Stand's name - stopping time as the screen shatters. The music pauses, with the only sounds being DIO's footsteps. A fully revealed DIO then walks past Jotaro, soon adopting a smug smile, in a sequence that takes exactly five seconds. After he walks past Jotaro, time resumes with a "Sono Chi no Kioku!". As Jotaro turns, The World and Star Platinum begin their attack rushes as both of their users look on, their battle cries ringing out as the blows land. The traditional scene changes into a flurry of ORA in Katakana, which turns into JO, also in Katakana, is instead a flurry of ORA in Katakana, and MUDA in Kanji.

In SC Episode 48, the final episode of the season, the opening has been changed even more to include sound effects, such as Silver Chariot's swishing swords or the general noise of Stands manifesting. Also, when the camera pauses after moving to Jotaro on the staircase, The World is seen punching away the credits and the staircase around him, explaining why it shattered in the original version. The silhouette section also adds new images for a split second; DIO is shown standing at the top of the "stairs" Polnareff, Iggy, and Avdol are climbing; the line representing DIO's knife flying at Joseph's throat is replaced by DIO's arm appearing to drain Joseph of his blood; when Kakyoin erects his barrier, The World appears in front of him, ready to strike him down; and when Jotaro is surrounded by knives, Star Platinum appears to try and knock them away.
Trivia
*This is the first opening to feature all the artists from the first three openings, forming the "JO☆STARS" group.
*The opening heavily foreshadows later events in Part 3:
**The clock motif that appears throughout the opening alludes to Star Platinum & The World's time-stopping abilities.
**What is implied to be Jotaro's heartbeat, which Jotaro intentionally halts during his fight with DIO in order to appear dead.
**Polnareff becoming possessed by Anubis.
**A shot of the Crusaders in Kenny G's labyrinth, with the shadows of the Egyptian God Stands appearing on the walls.
**The positions of the Crusaders on the stairs of DIO's mansion, referencing their fates.
**Joseph and Jotaro's confrontation against The World.
**As Jotaro punches the screen towards the ending of the original series of openings, The World can be seen briefly in the animation.
**Jotaro's right-hand moves for a fraction of a second before the "knives" appear around him, foreshadowing his tolerance to The World.
**At the end, the logo turns to stone and then vanishes like dust; foreshadowing how DIO's body is eventually disposed.
*The opening sequence also showcases Silver Chariot being able to dual wield rapiers, though canonically one of the blades should be a partly-broken Anubis.

*When Coda sings the line "Mada minu sadame", the song title changes into "" for a frame, referencing the first opening of Season 1.
*The previous openings of the show are referenced in the song's bridge: TOMMY's lyrics include the word "Destiny", Coda's lyrics include the word "Blood", and the final section of the bridge (sung by all three singers) includes the word "Pride". These lyrics reference "~Sono Chi no Sadame~", "BLOODY STREAM", and "STAND PROUD" respectively.
*The Japanese lyrics write Star Platinum's name as "Sutā Purachinamu" instead of the usual "Sutā Purachina".
*The version of the opening used in episode 47 onwards started the tradition of the main villain interfering in the opening during the series' climax, which was featured again in two other openings during it's respective parts' climaxes.
**The idea of having openings vary a bit to showcase DIO's time-stopping power came from Kamikaze Douga. During the presentation of the opening, Junpei Mizusaki, the president of the company, suddenly said, “It’s DIO, so we just need to stop time for 9 seconds."
