The tentatively-named Put Back, referred to simply as the "Hero" (ヒーロー, Hīrō), is a tertiary ally featured in the sixth part of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series, Stone Ocean.

He is a fictional character created by Weather Report, with help from the brought-to-life Van Gogh's self-portrait, in order to defeat Bohemian Rhapsody.

Appearance

Put Back is a masculine figure of average height. He wears a face mask equipped with a small switch and gauge, circular goggles, and a dark, curled mustache. He has beady eyes, short hair, and wears a top hat with the words "PUT BACK" engraved on the front.

His outfit consists of a long, fitted shirt that flares into a skirt-like hem around the knees, worn beneath a set of light-colored armor that protects the shoulders and arms. He also wears a pair of armored boots, each with two spikes protruding from the sides. As part of his ability, Put Back wields a shoulder-slung vacuum cleaner with an amiable tube and nozzle.

When manifested by Bohemian Rhapsody, only his top half materializes from Van Gogh's illustration.

Personality

Despite his seemingly human appearence, Put Back displays no personality or dialogue. His goal is to send back the fictional characters summoned by Bohemian Rhapsody to their works of fiction and return the world to normality.

Abilities

Put Back returning Van Gogh's Self-Portrait.

Fiction Return

Put Back’s sole ability is to reverse the effects of Bohemian Rhapsody using his vacuum's nozzle. He can suck up all manifested fictional characters and separated souls, returning them to their original works or bodies, respectively.

This power stops short of reviving the dead, as Pinocchio does not return to his story after being killed by Anasui.

History

Put Back becoming alive.

During the battle with Bohemian Rhapsody, an ability that brings fictional characters to life and traps people in their stories, Put Back is created by Weather Report and illustrated by a coerced Van Gogh. He springs to life and begins fulfilling the story Weather had conceptualized for him — to send all fictional characters back to where they came from and return everything to normal. He is briefly shown sucking up Van Gogh, Weather, Narciso Anasui, Mother Goat, and the Seven Young Goats before returning all of the other people to their bodies, characters to their stories, and presumably himself off-screen.[1]
