A thought that I recently got is the possibility that the Rock Humans from JoJolion are the 7-8 universe's version of the Pillar Men, and that got me wondering: what else does the 7-8 universe share with the 1-6 universe? What haven't we noticed?

Obviously, the Ripple and Spin are equivalent of each other, same with the Saint's Corpse and the Meteor/Arrows. But what else is there? What is vampirism in this universe? Is there an equivalent to Requiem stands in the 7-8 universe?

You could say that Love Train is kind of a Requiem Stand. Vampire are just less strong Pillar Men so the Rock Humans are there equivalent (kinda). Also I think that the meteor is mentionned in SBR, it's just that no one created the arrows.

Currently rereading SBR, a meteor is mentioned and some people in SBR think that it created the Devil's Palm, but in reality it's the Jesus parts.

Interesting that you mention vamprisim, as the scene with Diego using the corpse eye to permanently give himself Scary Monsters always felt reminiscent of Dio's "I reject my humanity, JoJo!" when he dons he mask.

There's some other interesting similarities too. Diego having sharp dinosaur teeth like Dio's vampire fangs, that he can "turn" other living creatures into dinosaurs obedient to him like how Dio can create vampire/zombie slaves or flesh bud his servants, gaining greatly enhanced senses and strength at the cost of a significant weakness -- Dio's weakness to sunlight, Diego's dynamic vision. Though honestly I don't remember the dynamic vision thing coming up again after the Scary Monsters arc, so maybe the corpse eye helped him see static objects again, or maybe being in control of the Stand allows him more control over his transformation and he can choose which human traits he retains.

So while obviously dinosaurs in general aren't parallel to vampires, I do believe Diego's Scary Monsters is specifically intended to be thematically equivalent to Dio's vampirism.
