In the Morioh (JoJolion) article, the intro says the town is (cite) "within Japan's S City, M (Momoji) Prefecture". I have some doubts:

  • Is there any source for the M abbreviation? I don't think it's ever mentioned in the manga, since Momoji is only mentioned in Chapter 1.
  • In Japanese, the name ends in 区 (Ku), which apparently denotes a Ward, not a Prefecture, which would be 県 (Ken). The translations of both Hi Wa Mata Noboru and Dogpark use Ward as well. Should this be corrected?
  • The translations I mentioned before use Momiji, not Momoji. Is it an error or just a different reading?

I'm sorry if I sound pedantic, but I don't know any Japanese to check these thing on my own.

Fixed it to say Momiji Ward. I'm not sure which chapter mentions M Prefecture, but it's on JoJo-Portal. (M県S市紅葉区の町)
