So chapter 99 just came out and has really blown up on Twitter. There's been a lot of discussion dissecting Araki's reveals and where Jojolion is heading through tweets or Youtube videos. But are there any points or questions you'd like to see discussed here that haven't been brought up elsewhere? If there's anything you feel hasn't been covered or explored more feel free to discuss, I'd love to hear some other perspectives or views!

Yeah well chapter 99 was kinda wild, we learned a lot of stuff, mostly wild stuff. I think it was a very good chapter, Araki knows how to tell a story so it was very interesting to learn about the rock humans. Same, I'm feeling a bit sad for Rai even though I'm frustrated Araki retconned a lot of stuff for this scene. I'm also moderately hyped for the ongoing battle, definitely don't know what will happen next chapter, Josuke will probably make a big floating bubble to move around without stretching his legs or arms, I think.

Some theory crafting. I'll wager Araki is foreshadowing the Rock Humans's plans with the weird description. See baby rock humans merge with a wasp queen to get fed and taken care of by the hive until they destroy it entirely. I think Tooru will want a bit of the same thing. With the new locacaca, he can make rich and important people merge with Rock Humans, and they'll take over society just like they do with the wasps, by merging with the rulers of society to their advantage to be even more of a parasite than they are now, and then destroy human society so that they can come out on top.

I like that Idea a lot for his motivation, I feel that if they were to go that route it would either be resolved like any other minor fight, or if he became the main villain we would have to settle the conflict within The Higashikata Family, I am curious to see how the theme of motherhood plays into the finale, with holy being this angelic mother of protection and self sacrifice while Caato being a mother who will sacrifice others for her children going against holy and the Higashikata themes of self sacrifice. With the Rock Humans it's interesting as they should have no real concept of motherhood with their mother leaving forcing the babies to control the mother of mothers, and then betraying the children. This shows in how none of the rock humans according to Araki really connect as friends, despite the fact that I feel Aisho (Doobie-Wah) and Yotsuyu (I am a Rock) had showed some empathy for eachother with Aisho saying hey may never see Yotsuyu again with a glum face.

This chapter really makes me wonder how old Tooru is. Considering the 17 years prior to maturity made and plus the flashback with Rai's father and Wonder of U in the background, he has to be at least in his 40s I wanna say.

Rock Humans do age differently compared to humans, I really wondering ow Yasuho will feel. Though I do like how it works with his stand as those who get close and pursue him will get hurt by reality as he doesn't harvest true emotions for those around him.

Like OmegaCTH, I really like that idea and motivation. I love Jojo Villains because they have basic motivations that Araki twists or amps up to another degree. Like Dio Brando wanting the Joestar Fortune or Kars simply wanting to be the ultimate life form seem boring on the outside but Araki adds a lot of depth with his characters and their backgrounds to make it intriguing. Initially, I wasn't too keen on the Rock Humans but now that he's added this fascinating lore, I've come to enjoy their quest for domination and take over. I guess it feels more personal and engaging. I'm really excited to learn more about Tooru and see Wonder of U broken down or further explained.

Additionally, I like the idea of Motherhood that's been brought up. We've always dealt with issues of fatherhood in Jojo, ex. Jolyne and Jotaro, Johnny and his father, and etc. But I'm interested to see what Araki has to say through those two mothers Omega mentioned and how that idea will play a part.

I understand they age differently, but really weird how Tooru, in his late 30s at minimum, said "I wanna go to high school". Tooru seems like an interesting character, but I just hope he gets more development while he's still breathing. He is in dire need to explain himself.

I also found it funny that Jobin led Josuke into the direction into, quintessentially, the Kars equivalent of Rock Humans by complete accident. I don't think he's down for the count yet, and he's probably Josuke's biggest obstacle outside of Tooru doing Tooru things. Based on the flashback at the start of the arc, it's clear Tooru already lost. For all we know, Joshu will out him before we know it.
