I was wondering how i could play with no emulator as im typing this from a Chromebook that cant handle apps. I know a lot of people use emulators and i wanted to see if there were other ways to play. It looks like the only way would be to buy an old console and buy the game off ebay or something and i wanted to see if anyone knew a better alternative. If someone tells me that would be great thanks.

I don't believe there's any way to play it without an emulator. I'm not too knowledgeable on emulation and stuff like that, but I don't think there's any other way to run the rom without emulating it.

If you're looking to get into it competitively I think most people use fightcade. If you're just looking to play the game but your computer can't run it I believe there's an HD version that was released for the Xbox 360 Xbox live Arcade as well as PSN on the PS3, so if you have either of those consoles you might be able to play it.

The game is pretty old though, so I don't know if your computer should really have a problem running it. My laptop isn't really the best power-wise but it runs it fine.

There is currently no way to play Heritage for the Future outside of buying the disc for an old PS1/PS2 or Dreamcast. The HD versions that released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 were delisted in 2014 or so, meaning that's not an option.

So TLDR: emulations is the only option.

I'm not very familiar with Chromebook OS, but I have a feeling like Heritage wouldn't run 100% the best on something like that. Hope this helps but it feels like you're a tad bit outta luck, unfortunately.

I have a sugestion, try the MAME emulator. Is a famous arcade emulator. After this, search a rom for the game. I don't know much the part of configuration in the OP, sorry.
