Motohide Nishimura

Motohide Nishimura (西村 元秀, Nishimura Motohide) is a Japanese animator credited for his work on the TV adaptation of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure by David Production. He's been primarily a key animator for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind.

Nishimura is an animation instructor at Yoyogi Animation Academy - Nagoya. As a part-time freelance veteran, he currently teaches courses in Mecha animation, but was originally a member of an Tokyo animation studio for 30 years prior.[1] Notable series he's participated in as an animation director include Psycho-Pass, Black Clover, Hanebado!, Twin Star Exorcists, and Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku.[2]

  • Nishimura's nephew, Asuka, is also an aspiring manga artist and will ocassionally showcase Nishimura's works on his twitter.[3]
